Shonnie Carter Training Video

I only watched the first 15 mins, but Shonnie doesn't seem like a great instructor. Neither does Chuck Liddell in his video that I had, but...................

yeah, alot of the learn to fight videos that "star" the big names in fighting are less than spectacular. the only one that i really wanted was the Randy Couture ones, pretty much the only videos i have heard of that focus on the Greco-Roman clinch and upperbody control.

Bas CDs/videos are good.
Most of those old school Panther Production videos are 50.50. Half of them are good, half of them suck.
THe one Panther video of all time to me is the best?
Bill Wallace's stretching video. Awesome video where he breaks down every single leg muscle and teaches proper stretching of each one.

I just bought a huge amount of Panther Productions DVD's on closeout. I like the Gracie and Paul Vunak ones the best so far.

"Ultimate Fighting Techniques Vol. 1" by Royce Gracie and Kid Pelligro is a real good BJJ instructional book. They do a real good job of breaking down the moves, and I prefer books over videos because I have a harder time learning through others speech than I do by written word and pictures. I'm still waiting on Vol. 2 but when I get it I'll drop a post to let you guys know how it is.

thats the thing about fighters and trainers. some fighters can make the transiton to be a coach but most or horrible at it, yet you see these trainers who do it for a living and they are just amazing at teaching the sport to ya.
