forced time off, quickest way to comeback?
for basically 3 weeks now i have been in work, school and slept with ZERO free time... ive lost about 15lbs and have 0 energy.. my schedule goes back to normal again now, but i was curious if anyone else has gone through dramatic losses before and the fastest way to get them back.... i always did gain and lose weight, muscle and fat faster then most, but this was ridiculous... if anyone has been in this boat or maybe had an injury for that time and had to come back please give me any advice
thanks!! :sport-smi :sport-smi

Food, rest and some quick intense training is really the key.
Hill sprints work wonders
Squats
Deads
Quick and instense is the key, leaves more time for recovery.
Nutrition immediately following your workout will be very important too - high protein, high carbs (high glycemic carbs too - like dextrose).
Add some L-Glutamine to your diet, 10gram in the morning, 10 grams after a workout and 10grams at bedtime.
Good luck.

i work 3rd shift and i have weeks/months where i don't sleep well. it sometimes causes me to miss alot of workouts. i have found it best to ease back into whatever it is you used to do. otherwise you run the risk of DOMS. i am sure everyone has experienced the muscle soreness that you get when you workout to hard after a layoff. the human body is excellent at remembering how you used to be and after a short break-in period you'll be back to where you were at in no time.

theres no physical reason for that whatsoever.... if anything it would help you to sleep, but it really wouldnt have any impact in that either
