open to sugestions of my daily routine
6 o clock ---drinking water at work
9 o clock brake --snack on some wheat thins.
12 o clock --no lunch-- just more water
2 o clock snack a lil on some peanuts while working
4 o clock -- 3 scoops of no xplode
4:30 off of work and over to my boyz home gym for ----training hitting 1's 2's 3's 4's 5's 6's on the hand pads,,,, hitting the heavy bag,,, working on ground n pound and submissions
finish training off with some cardio such as
5 mins total of
steping to sprawling
to sit ups(crunches)
to 6 inch legs waving in the air back in forth verticaly
to jumping in the air to sprawls and back up to jumping
to mountain climbers (bent over alternating legs back n forth)
all within the 5 mins about 30 seconds each.
the take 2 min break
then back to the same routine but for 2 mins instead of 5min.
(change sweaty ass shirt) (catch breath)
6:30 finished training
6:30 get to real gym around the corner for some weight lifting and more cardio.
various training on whatever muscle group the day is on..
and finish with some running on the treadmill of various speeds and breakes with 1 min of full 15degree incline then slow to a walk to cool down..
7:30-8:00 drive home
get home have a salad with some microwave chicken peices in it with some ranch dressing
sit around resting , on the computer, and watching some tv till time for bed at 12:00
the end...
i try to do this monday through friday as long as my training partner is't at his job at the fire department..
but if my partner is busy i just hit the gym twice as hard.
so basicly im drinking 64 oz. of water while running my cnc machine @ work and snacking lightly on some wheat thins and peanuts throughout the day
then @ 4:00 the noxplode goes down and stirs everything up in my stomach and makes me ass small like rotten eggs till i take my first ****. (sorry for the details)
and i usually take the weekend off unless i make it to the gym for a half ass workout on saturday
i'm open to sugestions on what i should or shouldnt be doing/eating or whatever...
ive been doing this routine for about a month now and have been weight lifting for awhile before that..
i feel like im putting myself in the best shape of my life and continuing to make improvements daily and weekly.
let me know what u guys think.
by the way i'm 5'9 224lbs and dropping
i have a really wide/stalky build
i want to continue to train and drop weight to maybe fight in the 200lb area of weight classes of mma fighting once i am prepared enough and not a miniute before i'm ready /mentaly & physically
thanks for any imput that could help.

Your diet is TERRIBLE. From the time you get up until dinner, you're eating wheat thins, peanuts, and NO XPLODE? You should find a school kid to explain the five food groups to you.
Your life will improve immeasurably if you start eating more balanced, well-rounded, healthy meals containing vitamins and minerals and nutrients. You'll get stronger, have better cardio conditioning, you'll burn fat faster, you'll have more energy throughout the day, you'll get a better night's sleep, etc.
Check this out:

Also, I don't know your friend and I don't know if he's boxed competitively for years and has his coaching certification, but if you ever plan on fighting yourself, it's a bad idea to spend all this time pounding the pads and heavy bag. You're picking up bad habits (incorrect stance, not enough head movement, telegraphing shots, poor defensive skills, etc) and they're going to wind up so ingrained that it will make you a crappy striker and a real coach will find it ten times harder to train you because instead of just being new, you'll be new with specifically bad form.

I don't have the slightest clues about nutrition, over the years I only worked on my techniques, power, and speed. I think while it's good to have a sparring partner, it's not all that bad to work on the heavy bags most time. I like it, because it improves my power, endurance, and I could work on my speed and accuracy. And ofcourse, once in awhile if possible, always good to find a partner, or visit a school for a good sparring work out, to see where I am at, what I lack of, and needed to improve on, or what I have achieved or technique I have perfected.

Okay, but I'd bet ten times out of ten that you'd get owned by someone who's been training with a professional boxing coach that understands the science and the physics of boxing. Guys who spend too much time just pounding the heavybag without a coach might as well come into the ring with a target on their jaw and a t-shirt that says, "Go ahead and knock me out."
And every aspect of your game can be improved by proper nutrition. You really should check it out.

I agree...I'm no dietitian but its so clear that you are mal-nourished most of the day...definitely don’t skip breakfast...gets your metabolism working...you don’t need 3 eggs, sausage and home fries...just something like a bowl of wheaties and a banana or something like that to get your metabolism moving...and you should probably have lean proteins like fish/chicken for lunch/dinner if you can because with all that working out...your going to need the amino acids in meats. I didn't say steak because you said you’re trying to lose weight, better to stick with the leaner meats.

i know im kinda starvin myself but i seem to be loosin weight at a decent pace...
i need somethin quick for b-fast since i wake up like 15 mins before i leave for work... but also somethin healthy.
i was pretty sloppy a couple months ago.. but feeling and lookin a whole lot better now..
i have plenty of energy throughout the day despite my lack of eating the basic foodgroups..
my training sounds kinda ghetto over the net...
but my trainer shows me the correct ways/stance throws and protecting myself at all times during the punches.. and corrects me when im doing the wrong things.. he's been training and fighting in mma for a couple years and seems likes he's had some really good training and knows how to transfer that along to me from what he has learned.
we work on alot of stuff but due to me nto wanting to type it out in detail i didnt really explain that i am really working on working the correct ways of doing everything more than just beating the heavy bag n **** like that randomly..
each day i learn something new and i'm perfecting skills as i go along.
i love anything that i can do for a rush... as u can see from my myspace profile..
anysugestions on a quick breakfast thats good for me that will help me loose weight as well ??

I microwave oatmeal, and from an actual bag of oatmeal -- not those processed sweetened flavoured kinds. Buy what they call "one minute oats", put it in a bowl with some water, and nuke it for two minutes.
Then I eat it with almonds, berries, dried fruit, etc. No added sugar.
You can also nuke some egg whites -- plenty of protein and iron and B12, but fairly low on fat and calories because of the absence of the yolk.
Eat some fruit. A banana, an apple, and some strawberries would give you tons of low-cal nutrients.

i eat regular oats for breakfast, mixed with raisins, honey and cinnimon. but i still cook them in the microwave. the cook up well and i have plenty of energy until my next meal. takes about 2 minutes to prepare. if you're in a real hurry you can mix the oats in a bowl the night before and just add the water in the morning and cook. eating fruit is easy as well, i keep bananas on hand at all times, no washing required.

Throw a banana in your breakfast some times...I don't know how credible this site is, but here’s some info:
http://www.personalchefricardo.com/W...0for%20you.htm
You see a lot of professional tennis players eat bananas before and during matches...professional tennis requires tremendous bursts of energy and a high level of endurance...great fuel for the body

You definitely want to spar live as much as possible. Heavy bags don't have head movement like an opponent, and most importantly they don't hit back. You'll have no defence and you won't know if you have bad form leaving you open for counterstrikes.
I've done the whole home gym thing and I go to an actuall school and the difference is almost as extreme as training and not training. I can't say enough how a good coach keeps your form good and sparring partners keep you sharp and help your reaction time, helps you to learn to read people and predict what theyre going to do, learn to counter yourself.
Plus primary home gym training will get into alot of bad habits you'll need to correct when you get a coach.

agreed but what im doin isnt as bad as u guys may think
i totally see where u guys are coming from and we DO work on defense and form almost 99% of the time.
we trow punches and cover up for defense while the other person thows punches trying to get past our guard.. and one of my problems i have right now is that im bring my elbows out too often.. but every time i do it my trainer corrects me and throws a punch or 2 where i left myself open.
we hardly work the heavy bag... i just make sure i do get some if it in just for strength and conditioning..
90% of the time were are sparring 1 on 1
thanks for the info:sport-smi
