sounds bad I can understand it hurt after the first session but it shouldn't continue for a week maybe a day or to ten should start to feel better. what happened did you have any kind of protection or on your hands or head same for your sparring partner was it from a slam, kick, Punch or what. You just should get up and start practicing focus more so on conditioning and getting your form right then sparr but not 100% and at full contact hold back and just the basic down until you can take the punishment. You may have busted something up there or have a concusion go to a doctor have it check out. Conditioning the head and neck is a must do not start practicing these before your neck and head are conditioned unless you wanna be 38 and have to pause for 5 seconds after each word you speak to think about the next

well i dont think its a concussion or nutihn cuz when i rest for more then a couple of days the head ache faids..but as soon aws i start training again then it begins to hurt again...and yea its a result of a combination of punches kicks and slams. my sparring sesion began with no pads or nuthni but then after i used head gear and 16OZ boxing gloves.
and what should i do to conditon my head and neck for taking hits..thanx man...

I had a sore tooth a while back and when I lifted weights it made the back of my head hurt pretty bad it didn't bother me much when I didn't have my pulse up but once my hart started beating faster it would hurt.......Maybe its a tooth thing with you too.

I hope its nothing bad just remember to focus on conditioning and flexibility. I know what you mean by i starts to hurt when you practice that happens with my arms it feels like the vein is being pinched or something it may be because I don't eat alot or because both of my arms were dislocated

Is it like you are sitting down then stand up fast type of dizzieness? Maybe you arn't getting enough blood to the brain. There is supplements out there that widen the veins i thought too if that was ever the case. But im not sharp on that stuff at all, just a guess.

Not to take the simplistic approach but I wonder if it could be dehydration. The headaches, light-headedness and dizziness you get from being hung over are caused from depletion of the layer of water that seperates the brain from the skull. I would recommend drinking a minimum of one gallon of water per day for someone who is very active and in training.
Note: Liquids that contain caffiene and alcohol dehydrate the hell out of the body. I would completely cut out coffee, soda and beer from your diet. Even on your off days.
It's summer and the high humidity makes it even more important to stay adequately hydrated. There is no substitute for a doctor's advise so make sure you follow up with him on the situation.

see the thing is, a drink plenty of water, over a gallon a day
and i dont drink no caffein or nutihn
i do drikn beer once in a while but not everyday, and when i do drikn i always load up extra water into my body after in the morinig...
and no its not really liek a dizziness when i stand up
like when i bob and weive or punch the heavy bag.. like any vibration or shaking of the brain....it jsut feels weird cant really describe it...its kinda like the feeling after u get punched in the jaw,, the
what i belive it mgiht be is to lil ater in my brain ffor protection or to much purhaps...im guessing to much water beucase i drink loads of water..thanx guys,, keep the opinions coming..
peace it

No, I have no idea what they are called. My friend took some and told me about it. I'm sure you can ask someone at a local GNC, they would know way more then me. My friend could of been pulling my leg.

Thanks, I've been looking around but haven't come across anyone yet that knows. It's weird I never had this problem up until last year then all of a sudden I started getting these pounding pressure headaches in the back of my head that would come whenever I worked out to hard or even did something as simple as jumping jacks. :\

unfortunately one of those supplements are caffiene. caffiene increases the flow of blood to the brain, its why people who drink coffee alot get headaches when they stop. there are others out there but to be honest none of them have FDA backing. i'll look them up for you.
you can try this; its widely thought to help circulation to the brain

i think anyone who has a problem with thier head needs to seriously see a doctor. i do however remember having days when my head hurt whenever i would do anything strenuous. in my case i was getting to much rest. anytime i sleep for more than 8 hours i would feel like crap and my head would ache. exercise would make it unbearable. of course the tooth explanation might be right on as well. a cavity can cause headaches as well. i had a cavity in one of my wisdom teeth. some days it woudl ache so bad i wanted to die, again, exercise made it worse. i had it pulled and all has been good since. just the same, call a doctor if you have headaches when exercising. no one here needs to have a stroke.

Sorry this replies late, not at home but anyways...
Yeah the headaches have been going on now for about almost a year, I haven't seen a doc yet, was supposed to about 4 months ago but they double booked and I just haven't had a chance since then, it all started when I first started lifting, I was benching and I felt this huge amount of pressure and then something just went off and I got one of the worst pressure headaches of my life, my dad said I probably pinched a nerve and I should just give it a few months to heal but after a year I'd think it would have cleared up by now no?
Sorry if this is more of a ramble then a post and the punctuation's probably way off but it's late and I'm a little out of it lol

Mate, if youever get any head pain like this, get it checked out by a GP. Better safe than sorry, I made that mistake myself.
