POSITIVE FF comments - Fight Forum - MMA - UFC - Boxing - K1

ok, so theres all this BS going around and im sure everyone will understand at some point whats going on...

but thats all way too negative for me so i thought id start a PRO FF thread here...

why do you all like it??
i do because i LOVE mma, i have learned SO much (people around here think i know everything because i do from here haha) all these little facts its great....

connect with other cool members with similar interests...

fight training and nutrition... amazing section, i have my degree in that area but others know soooo much more, its great to compare notes and really get alot of good practical info...

so forget the BS and remember why YOUR here on FF...

im on ff because when i click on the bookmarks tab on my laptop, it takes me here. if i dont click on it, i dont go on here, i go somewhere else

Why are you kissing aika's ass like you know whats going on with the Team **** thing in the is the team **** members allowed here or not thread. Its not your business, and Team **** isnt as bad as the mods are making it sound.

Its very much his business as much as it is anyone else's that is a member here. What is / was going on affects every member on the forums...some more than others so far that we have found. Either refrain from attacking people or the next time it happens you wont be around to find out what the outcome of all this is.

Just ban ASD, he has never contributed to the forum anyway. The only time his posts stand out in a thread is when he is bashing some one.

I do like this forum due to its high integrity, high standards and professionalism.

Well thank you, Arelius. The internet has always been a place where people feel they can bash each other in a way they would not in real life. Maybe this anonymous venting is good as they will be kinder in life, but I am probably stretching a bit. In truth, we need to be kind because it makes us better people and makes this a better site.

lol great point..... and that drives me crazy, if any of you guys knew me outside of FF you know ill speak my mind at any point to anyone.... i am certainly in the minority with that as its easy to tell that alot of these comments are coming from younger kids who feel like wanderlei silva when tehy are on the internet...

regardless "professionalism" is a great word to explain FF, its hard to find a site where people get ride of most of the internet talk crap... i know its still semi taboo to talk about for a bit, but with all the negative comments towards the mods with recent actions, i commend FF as a whole on "cleaning up the trash"

and yes id say that in person

I really like this site. I enjoy how the site is broken down into so many different types of sections so you dont have to scroll through each type as much. I have met some good and interesting people on this board as well. I have been into MMA for many years but finally wanting to actually learn more about it and im doing so on this board. Sorry if this turns to a negative in anyway but I liked how the board helped each other I didnt see any or much bashing of members on here. Im here for a forum a community to learn from one another to help each other out if need be.

I always understand when people get "offended". What I don't understand is why so many take what an anonymous internet has too seriously. It is at the end of the day, an entertainment tool.

We all have lives, family's etc. That is real. I find most people on FF are good people. THat's why I like it here. We all seem to be educated, well adjusted adults.

With hopefully adults being the operative word. I like the moderators here. And also know that sometimes the moderators don't necessarily get along or agree with each other. BUt that's human nature. But what the mods do well here? They're good at following the rules. The rules are for everyone, and if we and you and all of us break them? We deserve whatever is coming to us.

But the biggest reason I participate (sometimes too much), in Fight Forum?

The incredible research that some members are great at. This here is the place for MMA news and video and announcements!

The two main reasons for me are the community and the mods. When i first joined the community was the perfect size. It's easy to have structered conversations and debates when there's not an overwelming amount of people. Although FF has grown a lot sinse then, it's not comparable to the mayhem that is Sherdog or even the UG. FF has a comfortable feel you won't find on most forums.

The mods are oustanding here. I've been a member on many forums and i've never seen so many admins taken such a genuine concern for the members. Numerous times mods have PMed me because they saw a post i made and wanted to check if they could help. Or PMed me just to ask "What's up?". Most people in power want to be put on a pedistal and worshiped. You don't find any of that here. These people just want to run a civilized forum. It's quite refreshing.

What I like about FF is the way a bunch of you write really long posts about stuff I know nothing about, and I don't even care enough to find out. I have almost no idea what Team **** is, I don't care, and that's pretty much the bottom line as far as I'm concerned. I'm happily oblivious to whatever has got everyone in a tizzy.

Oh -- and I like MMA, which appears to be a common opinion here.

hells yeah, i don't understand the "caco" thing or whatever I'm 27 years old and love all forms of combat sports, and always have. most guys my age like football hahaha not me. i like ff because of what i learn here from other posters i feel there are people here that have something to offer. around my friends i know more about mma than anyone else but not here, i learn cool stuff everyday. i told my dad about this site and he just registered tonight so to all of you that have something positive to add post on to all the haters out there peace out.

What? Did you think that this was a democracy? No forum is a democracy. Did you do all the work to create these forums? Did you pay for the servers? Did you pay for the domain? I have stayed out of all of this bull crap about Team ****. But, I have always maintained that this Fight Forum is THE BEST of all of the MMA forums that I am a member of out there in the Internet world. Aika, Guile, Bull, and all of the others have always done a great job. Hands down, THE BEST. Am I kissing ass? I don't F'n care if you think that it is or it ain't. I speak my mind. It's simple. There are rules on these forums. THAT is as democratic as it will ever be for the members. If Guile wants to shut it all down and switch it all off, then that is his right. He OWNS the forums. He made them. We only play in HIS back yard. And, he has good admins running the yard. If he thinks that there is a threat to his yard, then Guile and his crew can do what they think they need to do.

Everybody should just STFU and let the admins do there thang.
