its funny because in the past 2 years me and aika generally almost always disagree ... difference is, we can disagree and still have debates...

anyways read the threads, those "key" members are finally gone and besides these stupid threads the rest of FF has gotten along great as the new events approach...... actually, your leaving so i wont waste my time... so bye!

while i don't agree with what he said, i don't think he should be banned for speaking his mind. when other members have spoke more on the team **** and are still members.

Kent, I agree, people need to understand that there also is a difference between speaking their minds and being too excessive with their choice of words. It's always fine to say "I disagree because I have the feeling that ...", yet some never seem to understand that.

Mike was banned for his improper choice of words. I think it's fair to say I am a well-respected member of FF. If Team **** and their forum was so innocent, how come I was never invited to have a look or join, if it was all fun? Before people judge a situation, and cuss people out, they should analyse the WHOLE situation (read what was said regarding, particular messages, accounts, etc etc)

And people also need to stop describing Aika as a power-thirsty "censor": he is doing his job.

I didn't see a reason for Mike to get banned but I guess he was stepping down anyways? The banstick is dropping a lot lately, I hope this doesn't turn into a trend where people will be getting banned for the slightest infraction. Mike was a good poster, it is too bad he was tainted by "Team ****".

IrishMike had a strong opinion, but he really didnt say anything that offensive. I have to say I disagree with the banning of him. He was just speaking his mind. He didnt even use any strong words.

Reread his post: calling Aika a liar, while he only stated what he and guile (among others) found out after excessive research, and so on. We are not here to punish our members, but we insist that everybody behaves within reason. I don't think that's too much to ask for.
Yes, we did ban a lot lately, and this continues if people do not start to man up and behave well.

He shouldn't have called Aika a liar, but IrishMike has been around for a while, is thought of very highly by a lot of members including myself, and has never been a trouble maker(at least not to my knowledge anyways). I think he was just trying to express his feelings about a subject that he felt very strongly about.

Im sorry. All I was trying to do was stick up for someone, that I thought deserved another chance. People accuse other people of lieing all the time on here. I just dont think Irishmike really deserved to be banned.
