not sure who is considered "highly regarded" since at the time those members of that team were once considered highly regarded.... why is everything done behind closed doors? could you elaborate on the plan?

while i appreciate your site, and it provides great insite into mma and a variety of topics, i think having a more honest and open attitude would greatly help... you always are very short and direct when speaking to me, and i believe a little more friendliness would go a long way... I thought getting rid of that team would clear up the site, yet at the same time a string of 2 year + members have left simply because a flock of trolls came in directly after...

I get pulled into arguements time after time here nowadays... when someone says "you are a ****in retard" etc etc im GOING To respond... sure ill block them later, but how long will it go on... are they going to be called up as a "most respected" member?

i dont know, i guess my point is A: in regards to the topic i will gladly forward any PMs sent to me (however im pretty sure id be the last one here to get one from them LOL) and B: it would be cool to have the MODS, along with yourself create these plans, and not "most respected" members... having that is what about "teams" in the first place

I was just banned for "persuading members to leave FF for other sites". First of all, FEC4 was leaving already. He made a thread about it! Pull up my PM's, I never said anything to the effect of "you should leave FF". In fact, in the majority of my PM's, I said something like "I am not trying to tell you to quit posting here".

By the way, I was never a member of the infamous Team Co Co. If Fight Forum isn't falling apart, why is there a thread about it?


The reason I came in contact with the members of Team Co Co is because many of them were banned for no reason. Irishmike said he was not coming back and was banned. But wait, Sitnspin said the same thing. Nothing against Sitnspin, but he hasn't been banned. This is just one example. I am not trying to rehash all these things because it's over.

I like how you still think you did the right thing. Yet FF is continually getting worse.

Great members are leaving because of the problems yet most members just want to turn their heads like nothing is wrong.

Oh and I wasn't spamming.


EDIT: Actually GSP, everyone from FF was planned on being invite. Even Guile.

im not sure who you are or why your addressing me.... my post was directed towards guile with a few questions...

i made the thread about FF falling apart, and my intention, as a member who has been here for over 2 years was to suggest ideas to gain some interest back in it (as you can clearly tell from the first post before everyone spammed it as usual) Seeing, angryjohnny, sitnspins, etc etc come and go, i think it would be cool to develope a plan to bring it back thats all... guile above stated he was doing so, i was just suggesting that no one besides him and the mods should be coming up with a plan... not "respected members"

also, try the search function, its been beat like a dead horse why that team was banned... but most of all, no reason to include my name in EVERY post that comes about thats all..

i belong to the team co co forums as well as another forum created by those guys.
yeah i think that the pms they sent could be considered spam, i think that fight forum should not worry about it much.
i don't know if i'm considered a highly regarded member or not, but i feel that there are many people here that need to be banned, i've sent pms about it and yet they are still here.
when i first joined people were getting banned all the time. when i found this forum it was cause i got banned from 2 forums that i spent way too much time on. i needed something else to read and talk on. my first month here i was scared of getting banned, my wife and i used to joke about it, wondering how long i would last with the ban happy mods. now that those days are gone i wish that they would come back. quality not quantity.
ban the guys that continue to cause problems, every thread here turns in to a pissing match. it gets to be too much. i don't read half the threads or even post half as much as i used to.

FF is a great site but it is going down. i think it's great that you have a plan, but i think that the plan should be known to everyone. after all isn't that why co co got banned in the first place? a plan to get rid of "bad" members?

The reason more details hasnt been released is because things are still being planned. There wont be any secrets or anything like that. This is to help get the members more involved in how FF is run and managed, to give people a voice of sorts. More details will be given out when Guile and the gang have gotten things more finalized.

Maybe I was unclear. The STAFF is coming up with a plan to get more of our "highly regarded" members involved in identifying problem areas and ways to improve this community. By highly regarded, I mean members that the staff holds in high regard, not members that team co co hold in high regard, or somebody you enjoy chatting with here.

Look at it as an "Invite Only" committee of only select members who we feel have the best interest of the community in mind and are willing to help improve it instead of whinning about how bad everything is. Members that ask to be part of this committee will simply never be on it.

It is funny how the flock of trolls came in directly after, huh? We kick out the trolls and their team and they continue to come back and attempt to bring this place down. It's not going to happen. Those guys are outclassed.

You can have your opinion of who you hold in high regard, and the staff will have ours. LNP had our respect at one point, until we figure out how immature he and his buddies were. I've said it time and again, we made the right decision.

I'll be completely honest, if you are part of their team or forum, I DON'T WANT YOU HERE. I have absolutely no respect for those guys. The tactics they continue to use only reaffirms the decision we made to get rid of them. Why do they continue to come back to a place where they are not wanted? To help impove it? They only come back to make matters worse and recruit our members.

I am really getting tired of this ****.

A little harsh no? I signed up for the forum after I got an anonymous PM, I still to this day do not know who the PM was really from. Who here isn't a member of another MMA forum? Their MMA site is just another MMA site, just because I am a "member" there with a few posts doesn't mean I support their "team" philosophy and I made that clear when the whole ** saga was happening. I really hope that I don't get banned for being a member of another MMA site.

most of the trolls at this site have nothing to do with team co co. a few of them (trolls) were here before team co co. look at king k, how long has he been here just ******** along.

i guess i'm not understanding that you welcome members from ****dog, but if someone that has been here for a year or 2 joins (removed) or the team co co forums has to worry about being banned?
i enjoy talking with those guys, i don't have the same beliefs as them in regards to FF. however i do enjoy talking with them. i don't talk about the FF stuff and i don't get involved in their discussion of FF. i do know that grits has talked with aika about stuff and squashed the "beef" according to grits.
since aika has talked to grits does he face being banned?

also when you say supporting those losers is being against everything FF is about, what is FF about? i thought it was a place to meet and talk about mma, and other random crap.

i'd like to end this post saying that i don't want to be banned, so please don't take my post that way. i really enjoy this site and some of the members still here. without FF my day would be nothing but cars and there is only so much i can read about cars.

no need. I am just pissed off that we are still talking about team co co. If their forum is so "elite", why don't they spend their time on it discussing MMA rather than causing problems on FF and recruiting our members?

I don't care if you already signed up over there, but you know where I stand. Besides, when did I ever go to another forum and ask anyone of you to leave and come to FightForum because it was going "down hill"? Never. It goes back to that whole thing about class.

I understand that your not happy with the fact that they are recruiting people, but I think it's just more of a friendly welcome to their forum to chat with old friends. I'm a member there and I just enjoy posting and seeing other peoples inputs on certain subjects.

as time passes people will stop talking about them, but if you make a thread about team **** sending out pms then people are gonna talk about them again. you post could have just said please report pm spam.

We have to ban team co co's alternate FF accounts on a regular basis. You can beleive what you want.

Nobody is getting banned for being a member of another forum. Nobody is forcing anyone to be here either. I'd prefer to have FF members not be part of their forum based on their obvious attempts to ***** and bring FF down. Sherdog has more class.

Thanks TILC for atleast having the slightest bit of loyalty.
