can someone explain to me the concept of this? i dont get it... for example the UFC show was on last night... the next day in all the papers and internet sites it shows up front who wins and how... whats the problem with discussing it the next day on an MMA forum??

Oh but you can, you can discuss spoilers all you like in the UFC results section. It is not much to ask I don't think to give those who happened to miss the event for whatever reason (such as timezones, other plans etc) a chance to come on the forum knowing they won't have to see the results until they manage to watch the event.

I've often wondered about that, GSPATW.

If I miss an event or don't want to know what happened, I'll be staying away from the forums. I guess others don't...for some reason.

So what is the "etiquette"...24 hours...a few days...more?

i understand.. and i have never released any spoiler... but at this point mma is so big that if you goto espn or any sports site you will see it right there... why would you go on to an MMA forum if you dont want to know the result? just was an odd rule... ill follow it, but people jump on someone when the accidently make a hint of what happend by accident in another random post... just a question
