How about a Fight Forum myspace page? I have tried to PM fighters on other boards to get them to sign up, but their inboxes are always full and the messages never get through. Most fighters have myspace pages and it would be easy enough to get the invites out that way.

i know that forums cost money to run and i will never complain about ads, but i think the WWE ads i've been seeing kinda take away from our legit fighting site. i feel if i came to this site to get good info on mma and i saw a WWE ad i probably wouldn't join the site.

I really think there should be one. Maybe in the off topic section. Sometimes I just have a question and it really doesn't deserve a whole thread. I suggest an on going question thread sticky at the top, so memebers can just ask general questions to other memebers or to anyone.

every forum i've been on had one of them. that way if you needed to host a pic for a sig or avatar you could post it there or if you just wanted to ask something that doesn't need a new thread.

oh and is there any way to put a file size limit on the video sigs.
i use a laptop with a touch mouse and i can scroll with it. but when i get to one of them sigs my page freezes. i also can't scroll using the arrow keys. i have to wait for the page to unfreeze and click on the scroll bar on the side. it's been getting really annoying

Just go to the UserCP > Edit Options > Uncheck "Show Signatures"

How about a HDNET forum. Due to the 2 recent purchases, and fast growing organization. There has been alot of posts on hd news, and discussions related. I see hd discussions going on in all threads.

Which two recent purchases?
We are in the process of doing a minor change to the forum layout regarding promotions. HDnet will likely not get its own forum however. That is more of just a TV channel at this point rather than a full fledge promotion. They have run just 2 events since their inception late last summer. They are broadcasting a ton of events, but don't run them, thus I don't anticipate them getting their own forum quite yet.

Your Right, I meant promote.
They have a pretty good roster. I figured anything regarding hd issues could nicely fit somewhere.
You know more than I do regarding what is good for the forum.
HDNet Fights launched in 2007 and has hosted two shows to date. However, using the all-high-definition cable station HDNet, the organization has signed deals to co-promote shows with some of the sport’s top fight promotions, including the International Fight League, Strikeforce, SportFight and the Canadian-based Maximum Fighting Championships.
