Problem with forum feature

Recently I have been having problems with a feature here on the forum. I normally use the "Go to first new post since last visit" button that appears at the beginning of some thread listings. This feature takes me directly to the newest post of a thread I've been watching. Its a great feature. But over the last few weeks it doesn't appear to be working for me any longer. If the thread has 5 pages and I've read 4 of them the button should take me to the 5th page. But now it just starts me out on the first post of the thread.

Anyone else having this problem?

I haven't noticed this problem, but I'll look into it.

Any success figuring this problem out? I first thought it may be my computer at home but after connecting to FF on both computers at work I get the same thing. I'd say it's a "cookie" related but I'm no expert.
