Thinking about adding a live chat area to FightForum.com. Any opinions? Think it would get used?

Sounds like a pretty good idea actually. In my opinion it would be important to see who is currently in the chat room as soon as you visit FightForum.com because otherwise only a low number of board members would enter the room from time to time and might even miss an interesting session because they simply think "there is never anybody in, why should there anybody be in right now?"
I would love to chat with other members.

Thanks for the feedback. I would definately want to have something toward the top of the main page that says "User's currently in chat :" to hopefully keep it active. I think it would be cool to have for people to speculate before a fight or even for the people who didn't subscribe to a pay per view to keep eachother updated.

This is something we will most likely add in the very near future.

Absolutely live chat would get used!! Thats the whole reason I logged on. I was really disappointed to find it wasn't live.

Chat room would be a great idea. But this site's population has been increasing rapidly so it may be eventually way to disorganized and people will complain and probably force it to leave the site. But right now would be a good time to have a chat room. I used to go on another forum that had a chat room (I won't specify) and it was a fun place. Everyone got to know each other, talk about events, become friends, etc.

i thought there was already live chat? it just got used more toward fight times?
anyways, its great, just has to be monitored to make sure resutls are posted during ppv fights so people dont blow 40 bucks... i believe bigkitty was the one that told me to curl up and die? (drumzct) was wondering who that was... so as long as people are respectful
