Quantum JuJitsu
I was browsing the net the other night, looking for jujitsu schools in my area and at the same time was looking on youtube for some videos when i stumbled across this 'quatum jujitsu'! was basically wondering if anyones heard of it and what they thought? it looks freaking awesome, but.... having never done a martial art that incorperates ground work, i am no one to make judgements on how effective it is. anyways, take a look and say what you think!? even if it is weak, its pretty cool to watch!

This second link gives an example of a class in quatum by the looks of it...

Seems like it's just vale tudo BJJ. Pretty cool training video though.

Even though it looks cool, a lot of that stuff is not very realistic. I've never seen someone hold a punch out long enough for you to grab their arm, dance around w/ them, and then slap on a flying armbar.

It does look cool though, but I don't think it will work in a real fight.

One thing to keep in mind is it is a demonstration. So I am sure it has been practiced by both participates or atleast all the demonstrations I have been involved in or observed have been setup this way.
The thing I like about this system is it is very balanced in its methods. It focuses on all aspects of combat no just ground fighting. It also focuses not only on physical development but mental and spirtual as well.
The things I don't like are the acrobatic take downs, although these look good one question I always ask myself about any system is could my 90 year old grandmother perform that action? If not then it has no real applicability to the general practitioner. KNow I am not saying that any of you are in the same state as a 90 year old women just making a point that a good system should be easy and be able to be performed by a healthy person of menial athletic ability.
