Default My Friend Grappling Video Match

Here one video of my buddy who i'm training with. Is still white belt but he do bjj since 8month and he have past 1month in Japan to do bjj.

Is the guy in red. 5'10'' 155. He fight a blue belt. I found that very nice fight because before to know that the guy is blue belt. I say to my dad, damn, the guy don't know what to do lol. But my friend is good to defend.

My friend finish third in the tournament. Behind 2 purple belt. I will try to put more video when he will do match and when i'm gonna start .

YouTube - bjj fight absolut

definitely a good match but you can tell they are both newer BJJ players... both scared to commit to anything 100%... nerves also can make you do stuff like that too though. and the only way to get the experience to get past it is to compete which they are doing! I am always glad to see new players post videos!

Hum my friend it's is style of rolling. Take it easy, don't do something for nothing and is good in this. I know they are still newer but the other one is blue .

For me I hope to start soon. I don't care if i'm finishing last. Because I will learn and watch

good fight, biggest mistake he made was letting his opponent roll him and then onyl getting half guard, after that the guy was able to get side control fairly easy and was good at controllin from the top. if your friend had got full guard at the start it could have been different.

Yeah for sure. But you can see from side mouth the guy do nothing for that fight so no danger here .

Your buddy had the right idea when he had the underhook from half guard...move to the back! If he just commited a little more it would have went very differently. Also, he's gotta keep his hips down when he gets stuck in butterfly guard. Good stuff

i wasnt being mean... i was trying to compliment them. they are new but have the right skills and the only way to get better is to compete... which they are doing... they are doing exactly what they need to to become better!

I see a lot of white belt doing 110% everytime and make so many mistake. I'm still beginner but I see that everytime I took my time, let the other one fight for nothing, that at some point, I will be able to see what he want to do. And then after, take something and do a submission.

And my bjj teacher told me something and that is truth. If you roll with other belt, better than you and try to go at is rythm. He will be easy to submit you because you will try to go at is speed. But if you taking your time, before to be submitted, that will take more time and be able to see what coming.

So after that, everything come easier.

Not a bad video. I liked at the beginning your friend had a decent hip escape attempt out. He also tried to create space with his right arm in side mount, but I felt he left it out there too long and fortunately for your friend, the guy on top didnt hook that arm, or your friend wouldve been caught in a crucifix.

He also utilized good bridging into butterfly guard to escape a full mount. Not bad and it was sneaky.

But it was good. I enjoyed it. your friend has alot of patience.
