Absolutely. The first thing you do is find an MMA or BJJ gym in your area. Then you go in and sign up for classes. Then you learn a variety of great subs (such as the kimura) and reversals, and finally you enjoy a smug sense of satisfaction because you learned martial arts the proper way instead of trying to get instruction from strangers on an internet forum.

This forum is aging you my friend. Sitnspin is our well-meaning-informed-cranky young guy. We're working on a translator for him:
Go to a BJJ gym so that you don't hurt yourself or someone else. The kimura is my favorite technique and I could do you a great disservice by trying to tell you.

Start off in side controll.
Grab the top of their wrist w/ your right hand if your head is on the right side, same w/ opposite side.
Reach your extra arm under their arm and grab your own wrist.
SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY apply pressure.

Yeah don't just try a move like that on your friends or something...too many things can go wrong that way.

umm... not the best or safest explanation but whatever.
imo its also easier when you have someone in you closed guard....

I put this dude in a kimura and all he did was laugh.I was wondering if I was doing it wrong but he was just to damn big. Found out later that he is a body builder. hahaha. Body builder gone ju jitsu fighter, what a joke!

What do you expect me to do, draw a picture book? How could I exlain it any safer than typing slowly and carefully in giant letters?
And in closed guard, I'm usually looking armbar or sweep.
