Eh thanks alot guys, I appreciate this. Right now I have two matches one is against ryle and the other is against yoven. (You can see both of them fighting in my profile). As for vince I havent talked too him for a while as we are all on work experience. I have been training with a boxer friend of mine since I dont go too the gym right now and my defense has improved considerably, I dont think I will be sucked into a flailing contest with him and lets just say Ive gotten use too getting punched (My biggest weakness, I hated getting hit)
Thanks all, we should have some new fights this weekend if it isnt raining or next weekend.

Your 4-0-0 record, is that just in these backyard kickboxing fights or did you actually fight somewhere more organized?

He's talking about the fight forum fight league. Not real fights.

I see little to no Muay Thai in your technique....also when you were fighting the long haired guy you should of did a couple faints or just shoot lol!! take care have fun and be carefull!

It was at my buddies house so that was his dog and his mom. As for the no Muay Thai, I didnt really want too throw any knees in my vince fight when he did his first flurry I did that little jog because I was going too go for the flying knee. Also this was strictly stand up fighting no shooting or gnp. Were setting up a fight for next friday. Ive been working on my defense primarily and hopefully my next fight will be exciting!

That was very entertaining! Though ill admit I did laugh abit when that vince guy walked into a torrent of punches to the head and you slowed the vid down a bit.
Some nice kicks there Alex keep it up!

Just a tip, but you're going to need to speed up your kicks if you plan on doing more MMA style fighting. Your kicks are good and look to have nice power behind them, but they're pretty slow. You seem to have a hitch in your kick where you lift your leg to the height of the kick, then pause, then release with the knee. That process is going to have to become more fluid and quicker to get those off in an MMA environment or you're going to end up on your back - a lot. A good wrestler would bait you into throwing that kick and then shoot. Watch some tape on CroCop. Now of course he's a ridiculous freak when it comes to high kicks, but his technique is near perfect. The kick is very fluid and very quick - that's how he lands it and can even get it off in close countered punching exchanges.

Again thanks alot. Ive been away from the gym as im several provinces over in Ontario however ive been keeping my cardio and strength up by doing lots of swimming. My friend Jerome will be my next opponent and appearently hes a rather strong wrestler. I will defenitly work on my kicks, as ive said many times Im extremely sloppy now because I havent been too the gym I hope too start again when I get back and show some better technique. Talk too you all later when the video is up.

Hey there Im not back in Surrey British Columbia. I talked too my opponent Jerome today, the fight will be in August. I watched him do a bit of training today with one of my friends, and I must say he has been training. His boxing looks pretty good but hes afraid too get hit as he turned away from even the focus mitts but his ground and pound looks pretty bad. I hope too just push the pace with my superior cardio and keep on the offensive I have a question about this kick style you guys have mentioned.
Correct me if im wrong but the way your describing is instead of simply throwing my leg up there with my knee slightly bent I am suppose too raise my knee and then flick out the rest of my leg. Thats the best way I could descripe what im thinking.

i see alot of people doing that i feel this is a karate kick flicking the leg, i prefer the Muay Thai style and following through with the shin, better impact.

Yeah i prefer the more twisting motion with your hips and snap it back...Kick through the guy...that other 1 might get caught and then you could be easily taken down
