Ruediger fighting at Dynamite?

So much for that contract with the UFC. Zuffa has apparently terminated Gabe Ruediger's contract and FEG has asked for him to be cleared to fight at the upcoming Dynamite card!

that is not right, but i hope since it is short notice he loses because i am still disappointed in what he did in TUF.

Won't fly since Gabe is still under medicial suspension in Nevada and I wouldnt be suprized if he isnt cleared just due to the likely violation of the TUF NDA since he was so upset at Zuffa.

I thoguht in the TUF contract they can't fight till after the finale no matter what? in past seasons when guys were actually kicked out of the house they had to wait months before their next MMA fight!

Gabe's suspension was an administrative one, not a medical suspension. When Zuffa terminated the contract, the suspension was lifted. From the link above...

i hope he doesnt make wieght, whole time on the show i felt he was only in it for to make a name for himself through wisecracks, bullying and acting like a baby, he doesnt deserve the attention, he was poor at best in his only ufc fight

Terminated? Or released?

I think that there is a difference... The article used both terms. It may be that Gabe recieved a better offer and asked to be released.

He was terminated. Let me ask you this. If Gabe asked for his release to fight in the upcoming K-1 event, do you think Dana White would grant it following the weight cutting debacle? Thereby allowing K-1 to capitilize on the little bit of infamy that Ruediger now has? No way. Zuffa terminated the contract as they want nothing to do with the guy. Similar to Noah Inhofer and Eli Joslin, Zuffa has cut all ties to Ruediger for the immediate future.
