A damn shame.
Nandrolone is weird though.
It's been proven that some supplements have caused a positive test result for Nandrolone.
I hope Royce fesses up to this though.

First off Royce was good back in the style vs style days.......However he never was a very good MMA fighter Rickson is still the best Gracie ever, Cuz Rickson would beat the crap out of you if you made him much better for you to just tap.
I never was much of a Royce fan this don't change my opinion of the guy at all I'd be more inclined to agree with Akia that he probably tried to heal faster from something since he don't fight at all he is pretty much a straight G-JJ guy in his matches so I don‘t see why he would want to get stronger seeing how that is pretty much the point of JJ is to not need to be bigger and stronger.
I don’t think this effects MMA really at all who cares Royce couldn’t hang with any of the newer guys out there really he always did pick his fights to be against someone as old as him or someone that didn’t know much about what they was doing on the ground so he could walk through um Sak was his best opponent.
Would be worse had he beat Matt then got caught on something like this, But that fight made it pretty clear to everyone Royce’s time in the sport is over and he is just a $ bringer and getting a few last paydays.

The statement read that, “A normal person could have a level of 2 ng/mL of Nandrolone that the human body could potentially produce and an athlete that has just completed rigorous physical exercise could have a level of 6 ng/mL.
“We received a written response from the laboratory's Director of Science and Technology confirming the positive ‘A’ sample and positive ‘B’ sample.
Both samples provided by Mr. Gracie had a level of over 50 ng/mL and we were informed that the level itself was so elevated that it would not register on the laboratory's calibrator.”

Wow, Royce used to be all about whooping guys bigger and stronger than him on the ground. Out of all fighters he would seem like the very least that would want to take roids.
