--After the deal had been just about finalized, negotiations fell apart between Gary Shaw of EXC and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. According to Shaw in an interview not yet published by Todd Martin for Sports Illustrated's web site, Sokoudjou is expected to sign with Hero's.

--J.Z. Calvan has pulled out of Monday's Hero's show due to a broken hand.
(so now we also know why JZ had to pull out)

accoding to the fight network, he was gonna fight Overeem or Manhoef on Monday, but he has visa issues

Odd that he has visa issues since he was recently in Japan, but you never know these days.
