The official k-1 site says that Andy Souwer earned 20,000,000 for winning th k-1 max tournament.

Is this correct ?

It seems like there is no possible way that this ammount of money can be right.

If so, how can K-1 afford it....

It drives me crazy we people say ,oh $$$ for one nights work.
Fighters train for fights and do not get paid while training so their paycheque has to cover expenses while training.
Also their cheque is divided among their promoter,trainer,sparring partners,and other various people.

Still a nice paycheque though......but think what the other guys in the tournament made.........peanuts .....and they still have bills to pay.
