Default Masato vs Ohigashi.. a shame USA missed it

One of the quickest paced fights I had seen in a long time.. a true stand up war with bone crunching hits, the kind of things us american fans love.. but many cannot see.

Anyone else catch it or will I just be talking to myself

No I saw it my friend. And you are right. It was a great fight. It really is sad that we don't get the "good" K1 over here in the states. Thank you for making me realize that K1 is not only the crap that what was shown on ESPN2 and what I've been missing.

sadly unless you have a friend in japan the only way to catch k-1 aside from pestering them with emails all the time as i do is to do something i am not condoining... nor something that fightforum.com nor its sponsers condone.

Read between the lines and free your mind.

That is kind of sad. I don't have any friends in Japan, and I don't have much experience in the other method you are suguesting and never really wanted any. I don't know weather or not I will try it or be sucessful if I do.

The things is I really enjoyed the stuff they show on ESPN, but it's just so outdated. I watched the marathon they had on a few weeks back and really got into K1.

I can't imagine how much I would love the stuff you guys are talking about. It might become my favorite MMA around.

It all confuses me though. They have the K-1 fighting, Heros, etc. I just don't know how to tell all of them apart. :/

And it does upset me that I can't watch any of it. I'll never be able to get involved with it if I can't see it.

Its easy

K-1 in general is the promotion, but also refers to the heavyweight class.. sometimes also called K-1 WGP (for world grand prix)
K-1 MAX is the same thing as normal K-1 kickboxing rules, but for the smaller weight classes.
HERO's, previously known as Romanex, is full MMA rule matches.

This is the part I've seen on TV I believe. I actually enjoyed the stuff quite a bit.

This seems like it would be good as well.

I bet this is the greatest of all K1 action.

Thanks Aika!
