Bob Sapp
lol Bob Sapp is scary looking. 6'5 and 350 pounds. I like watching him try to knock peoples heads off, but he seems to run out of gas pretty fast.

Maybe he need more practice, and he doesn't seem to be very smart.

Is it true that Bob Sapp once knocked a guy into a coma?
He definitely is physically strong, but to me he seems limited, though. Once I saw a man half his size beating him up before Sapp landed an illegal punch I think to remember and got disqualified.

I wouldn't be suprised...He may be big and slow, but Sapps punches must feel similar to getting hit by a dump truck!

Bob Sapp is a huge giant of a man. I'm sure he hits pretty hard. That being said, he cannot go the distance and seems to have a bit of a glass jaw. I realize that this isn't a tickling contest and these men hit hard, but I don't really find him that impressive. Can't take a hit or go the distance? No thanks.

Is Bob Sapp big? Yes
Does Bob Sapp hit hard? Probably
Does Bob Sapp have the same size gas tank as a matchbox car? Yes
Can Bob Sapp beat a legit top tier MMA fighter. No
Sapp gets a lot of attention because of his enormous size and is able to overpower small, not highly skilled fighters. But he defintely is no where near a legit top fighter and I doubt he ever will be.

He runs out of steam pretty fast. But still very dangerous.

i like guys like Bobb Sapp. they add a bit of madness to combat sports. he may not be the most skilled fighter but his sheer size and strength make him an opponent worth respecting. you almost have to have a guy like this to keep things interesting. a fighter who has Sapp as an opponent better be on top of his game or he's going to get thumped.

I was as suprised as anyone to see that Sapp won the K-1 Japan GP. More impressive, he fought a total of 8 rounds! And reports are that he never gassed out. Apparently, he has begun training with Sam Greco in New Zealand (or Australia) and mainly working on his stamina. Apparently its working! I'll admit to being a fan of Sapp's, though the way he gassed against Hoost was almost embarassing.
Eight rounds of K-1 at his size, regardless of opponents, is pretty impressive to me.

Does anyone remember seeing Sapp in Toughman Boxing before his K1 days? He just ran down his opponent, pinned him against the ropes with one hand, and pummelled himself into a DQ with the other.Guest announcer Lawrence Taylor said Sapp would never amount to anything.....

i could imagine him loosing stamina pretty quick. but i mean if he connects with a solid punch. the guy hes hit will almost probably hit the deck and not get back up. guys as big as him make fights interesting. its like computer games. the big guys always hit hard but are never very fast and loose steam quickly. but steping into a ring with a man that size must be pretty intimidating.
as long as the guy can punch and kick he can fight. but does that mean hes any good at it? not necisarily but i think that monster is great. im a big fan of his.

A holding choke slam is impossible without cooperation from the person you are slamming.

THey wear gloves in K-1 right? Neither Sapp nor his opponenet are wearing gloves in that vid. The K-1 MMA I've seen they wear gloves.
