Gina Carano was supposed to fight Jan Finney at the K-1 Dynamite show on June 2nd, but she unfortunately had to pull out of the card. According to a report by The Fight Network, Carano had just come back from Thailand and had not felt well since her return. While at WEC 27 over the weekend, she had to be taken away in an ambulance due to dehydration. She claimed to be struggling with an intestinal illness.
Unfortunately for K-1, this is a blow to their card. Carano has been touted as one of the best female fighters in the world. Her bout with Julie Kedzie at EliteXC was easily fight of the night and provided more interest into the women’s mixed martial arts scene. It is not yet known if K-1 will attempt to find a replacement.
"They (old school MMA fighters) weren’t there to be TV reality douche bags, and they weren’t worried about their hair. They were there to fight and win. These guys nowadays are just worried about being a TV star, and that’s gonna get your ass kicked." - Don Frye

I too was looking fwd to that fight. The Carano/Kedzi fight was definitely the best fight of that night, especially with the dissappointing stoppage of the Gracie/Shamrock fight.
Damn.. that´s too bad.
Your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell!
That sucks, I hope she gets well soon.
That sucks. She was a great fighter that was really exciting, deff. the person to bring womens MMA into the bigger picture
