Default New style! And introduction

Hello friends, I am Wyshu Xian and i am Chinese that has studied Karate, Kung Fu and even limited Muay Thai over time and i have now used that and some of my own techniques to create my own style Chun Quan which draws alot of power from Chi. Chi is a very powerful energy.

I have students following in my footsteps and they are spreading Chun Quan, They are starting to fight in Mixed Martial Arts events and i must say they are coming along very well. Muay Thai and other arts are very strong but with Chi they become even stronger.

As for my introduction i am Chinese as i have mentioned and learn't Shaolin Quan for many years then went to Japan were i learn't some Aikido(Taught in Chun Quan) and Wado Ryu Karate where i achieved Nidan in a year. I then traveled back to China and then 2 years later went to Thailand and trained Muay Thai for a very few months and that is where upon arriving i started the creation of Chun Quan. I fought in some Muay Thai battles and won 3 of 4 fights, My loss was when i was feeling ill and forgot alot of my training but these were local fighters.

I went back to China where i continued to develop Chun Quan. An American from Hilo, Hawaii came to the Hubei province and Shiyan and he never left. I taught him Chun Quan and he taught me more English as a language. I have recently started teaching and my top students who some are very good through Chi are willing to participate in Mixed Martial Arts events.

Shortly after i started teaching with Morgan i left to tour the world and left Morgan in charge(He could speak Chinese). I first went to Mongolia where i battled against a Shuai Jiao fighter, Shuai Jiao was spreading to Mongolia from China. I beat the fighter in minutes with a powerful strike through Chi. The people were in ore that i did this to their champion who was very powerful but through Chi i proved to be more powerful.

I had just returned home to hear Morgan had a fall off tall cliffy area and he fell to his death. I was unable to continue spreading Chun Quan and had to stay with my students and teach and train them.

I look forward to posting friends!,
Wyshu Xian.

Welcome to the forums!! I have always been fascinated by the concept of Chi. Can you explain to us how your style allows for the user to harness this power?

Absolutely, I am pleased to see your interest in Chi!

This is not fake Chi some people claim, It does not give you magical powers. Chi is all around you and in everything. Chi cannot be harnessed without a strong and firm mind, The mind is very important! You must be able to see yourself achieve things and not have denying thoughts. Chi is internal power that can help you in more then fighting, In your personal life and much much more!.

When Chi martial arts masters strike they draw this energy of Chi from their surrounds to give extra strength and force but of course you won't do much if you swing very weak and slowly now will you? It must be a controlled but strong attack and Chi will make it stronger. A weak attack will still get some Chi but will be greeted by a weak amount.

Chi is a fake MMA combat. It is proven that it doesn't work and that it never will.

Ancient scientists have never been able to prove that this is true, so don't believe this idiot.

I have trained MMA for 23 years and have not once seen chi work.
No need to call anyone names man. Debating is great but to resort to name calling? Come on....

Edit: BTW welcome to FF Wyshu Xian!

i personally don't think the way you do. i am very open minded when it comes to internal energy. do i believe that Chi gives you magical powers and allows you to hit things without touching them? of course not, and neither does the thread's creator. i suggest you use a little more courtesy when addressing other members.

Then my friend, You have not looked far. I have explained Chi and you can do some searches although many fake answers are over the internet.

You have the right to your opinion but in this case you are wrong, Can you prove Chi is fake? No, But many have proven it to be real.

Mixed Martial Arts has not been around for 23 years so that straight away proves you wrong, Please do not lie about your Martial Arts status and tell the truth.

Edit, Thank you! members for the warm greeting.

As for you Crashsti, stay out of things you know nothing about.
And what is this "truth" based on?

Chi is not magic, It cannot make you invincible but it makes you more powerful if used correctly.

if you see a reason that i do not about showing you evidence please share because from what i gather i should not bother.

Catch Wrestling? I am not to familiar with it. It is similar to Submission Grappling?

banhammer? i'm unfamiliar with this tool over here in india.
the banhammer is a weapon of judgement used by moderators when forum members act unruly or threaten fellow forum members with physical violence. when you say you will destroy another member physically and mentally that qualifies as breaking the forum rules.

What claims? State them clearly and give reason why i should even bother to deal with you?

So it went from 23 to 11? I trained Shaolin Quan from a very young age then i moved to a different part of China where i continued my training and went to school there. After i had graduated from my little education at the time i left to train more Shaolin Quan and then it progressed from there. I am 53 so it would be 46 years i have been training in Shaolin Quan

How old are you? You are acting very immature. I have known young children to act more mature in my home parts of China.

You arrogance blinds you, And if you are not careful this one day may be your downfall.

i have revieved a wwarning now, thank you for getting me into troubel.
I did not accuse you of being cocky, You sounds as if you believe in yourself and this is good but do not let it take over you as there is a "boiling point".

I am not trying to to get you into trouble, You did that yourself through outrages remarks.

I am not familiar with a warning on this internet location but hopefully you have now realized that what you did was incorrect.

Edit: Thank you for the welcome.

Good stuff man, I definitely look foward to reading your posts in the future. What techniques from Kung-Fu have you found to be effective in MMA? Also, what kind of ground training do you incorporate into your style?

I am sorry it took so long to reply, I have been busy.

The grappling part in the system of my style is mainly Aikido but contains parts of Judo and even some but very few things of Brasilian Jiu Jitsu which the ground fighting comes most from Judo. We also have have put in certain striking techniques of the ground which i think is similar to what is know as "Ground and pound".
