Heh, that is a nice one. I live my life by that code now, and it makes all the difference. When I was younger I would let jerks like that get under my skin and I'd end up just as bad off. Now I let life play it's course and karma always wins.

Dude got what he deserves. I hate harassers. I mean I see beautiful women at work all the time, but it's hard enough being a woman much less having some creep come on to you when all you're trying to do is make a living.
Now outside the office? Is a different story! Heheh. A couple of Mojito's and office co-workers can become close! REAL close! Lol.
Hope Karma treats him as he has treated others.

you're missing something...he screwed me out of $1600.....how he lost his job is on him....he's the one who has the sexual harassment charges....he cost HIMSELF his hardship and loss of his job....that's karma!!
i have no chance of getting any of the money...but i have the satisfaction of knowing that the a'hole screwed himself...

Sorry I was refering to the harrassment charges. Innocent until proven guilty.
As for being screwed out of money? Yes, been there. Karma is about the only thing that gets me past the anger over situations like that. I only take solice in my belief in Karma. Can't prove Karma, but I'm saying it exists!

i guess part of depends on the conditions on how you got "screwed" out of 1600... i guess all i was saying is i never wish that bad things upon anyone... 1600 isnt worth a divorce and a loss of a job... if he did it to himself fine, but harold reynolds of ESPN got fired for only hugging an intern... regardless once again hopefully you recover from your 1600 loss and he recovers from his issues

I have someone after me right now. And everything she's done has come back to her X 4 right now.
Karma right?
I guess just because I'm human, I worry that the X5 will be something foul towards me.
I have faith. Lots of it, and know it won't. Even on this persons best days the foulness she could wreak on me is a small scale damage to no damage.
It's just the fact that I know someone unstable is out there gunning for me.
I'm a cop (albeit for a small small dept that isnt a speck of **** on the doppler radar).
I have "the cavalry" if it went down to that.
But sometimes theres that old saying.
"Are you winning?"
or
"Are there just measures of losing that are better for you than her"
And no, it isnt my ex wife.
My closest friends right now say my best bet is doing what I'm doing now by just staying silent and allowing her errs to multiply on herself (which is what she's doing).
I dunno

Dude, I'm sorry about the money. Times are tough and that sucks.. I just wanted to point out that is not how Karma works. That's really just bad luck, for both of you.. I know you are just making a point but people tend to misunderstand what Karma is. Karma doesn't "work", it just IS, it is already inplace.. A litttle abstract I know...

This guy obviously makes bad decisions consistently...it is only a matter of time for a person like that to get into trouble one day...its not "karma"...because you lost $1,600 he is destined by some metaphysical or transcendental forces to be screwed is not how it works. Thinking in this manner is only for those who wish to be some-what delusional in order to make a bad situation feel better...a pseudo remedy, a placebo...its just illogically connecting two events, nothing more...sorry to bring you down off your high, but I agree with GSP...hope everything goes well for all...

i used to wish bad things to happen to those who have done wrong to me. i don't feel that way anymore. To find joy in the misfortune of others, no matter how severe thier crimes may have been is'nt anymore right than to have commited the crimes yourself. It is a real shame that someone stole from you, but it is also a shame that the man who did it and his family will now all suffer even more from his latest actions.

I agree, Crashti. It seems that we think of those that have wronged us long after they have stopped thinking of us. It is a waste of energy.

So I find this guy's wallet in a public restroom and open it up, and wow! there's a large amount of cash in it. I went home and opened it up again, and see a picture of him, and his family, so I call the number associated with his adress and return it to a happy mofo.
Alot of unexplained events follow in the next few weeks. My suburban breaks down while I have the flu, and a neighbor I have never spoken with knocks, and asks why was it towed in, I explained it, and he stated he'll be right back. He came back with parts for a 350 motor, and fixed it. I offered him money, but he refused.
I got promoted at my job out of nowhere with an extra 11, 000 a year. That was weird--totally out of the blue.
I won 1, 000 on a scratch off, and I nver win crap.
Is this karma, luck, or payback?
