It looks like the board got an upgrade of some kind, i see various buttons at the bottom of posts that were not there before... I want to know where my points are as well...

I thought we all got in trouble or something and FF administration put all our points in Point Purgatory or something.

Then realized it had to be maintenance. I think Guile said in another thread he got hacked. Which sucks. I hate hackers and think they should all be shot in the face!

Take your time FF. Like I said, it's not that heavy a deal.

Tell that to people who are harmed by malicious hacking or have their identities stolen or lose money due to computer hacking...Im sure they will disagree with you.

really? i have had my acount wiped out twice now... one of my room mates did last year.... but if it wasnt for computer hacking i wouldnt have any of that money to begin with... you people have some strange idea most likly painted by movies and tv about what hacking is. you think every hacker is out to git you... you really need to educate yourself a little more. i hack for a living.... microsoft ceritified me. I get paid to hack into computers and restore things or fix things that normal computer people cant. i get paid fairly well. Nothing i do is leagal but it is all loged and known about. I hack for a living and i find it very offensive that you believe that all hackers harm malicious people.

I think he was talking about the hackers that cause harm to other people not you. I also have had a lot of money taken from me via identity theft and it's an absolute nightmare!

Thanks for getting the site back up and running with the points/bank functioning again, good job! One problem I noticed is that it says 'Your usergroup does not have permission to purchase vbPlaza Options.' for all the VBplaza options (eg bank).

I know what "hacking" is. Im almost finished with my IT degree and am pretty familiar with it. What I was talking about and what you do for a living are two different things. Yes, technically you "hack" for a living. You do so in order to restore peoples systems or retrieve valuable data and information. What you do for people is legal if they ask you to do it for them and you are working on their systems with their permission. I never said that "all" hackers were malicious people. I said that the ones that use their knowlege and skills in a malicious manner are bad. If what I wrote offended you that easily, then go back and read my post again. If you still have issue with what I said or think Im insinuating that all people that "hack" are out to get everyone, then I dont know what to tell you other than to lighten up and dont be so sensitive.
