New measures for the good of the sport ! ****

Cage Rage is recognized as the biggest and most prestigious UK based MMA promotion in the world. Now, with the backing of Elite XC, Gary Shaw and his team want to ensure that the highest safety standards are in place.
As from 1st December Cage Rage will be introducing the first of a series of important medical checks that show that Elite XC truly have the fighters best interests at heart.

Anyone competing on a Cage Rage event will now be subject to Random drug testing, all title fight competitors will be tested. These tests will include Anabolic Steroids, Stimulants and recreational drugs such as marijuana and cocaine. Drug Taking will not be tolerated on a Cage
Rage promotion.

This move towards making Cage Rage a safer event for all the Participants, shows that Elite XC are serious about promoting this great sport to the highest standard.

MRI scan and Ophthalmological inspections will be introduced early next year.

This can only be a good thing imo. Will be interesting to see if any results are made public and what punishments will be dealt out for failed tests.

Seriously thought,James "The Colossus" thompson may have some problems. Melvin Manhoef has left Cage Rage now hasn't he? So he should be ok.
