Tonight on HDNET fights "REckless Abandon", Ron Cruck confirmed that on New Years Eve Mark CUban in collaboration with M1 will televise FOR FREE on HDnet
Fedor vs HOng Man Choi.
Then they showed Fedor in Russia doing some pushups.

If HMC wins, then he will be the defacto NUMBER ONE HEAVYWEIGHT in the world. And, he would unoffically be like the PRIDE HW champion. LOL. Not really, but I will say that quite a few times more (if HMC wins) just to annoy the most ardent of Fedor fans. Of course, if HMC wins, we will hear the ENDLESS EXCUSES, like HMC was a hundred pounds heavier and a foot or more taller and all sorts of BS. People will say it was unfair or that it was a freak match and should not count against Fedor and other BS. Well, Fedor signed the contract, now he must live with this nonsense.
On the other hand, if Fedor wins, it is meaningless. He will have beaten a relative nobody in MMA that had only one fight in MMA and rightfully was not in Fedor's skill level or weight class. It won't boost Fedor up in the ratings. It will not justify any sort of title fights. It will not validate Fedor in the post-PRIDE era of MMA. At least, not in my opinion. |

HMC is a no joke fighter. Whether he's on the same level as Fedor is very doubtful. Though he has performed quite well in K-1 (12-4) and shown good skill for a man of his size, we'll see if he can translate his kickboxing skills into MMA against the toughest opponent he could possibly face.
