When people say that, I kindly offer to show the person exactly what is going on when the two guys are "humping" each other...I've gotten a few guys to start training after humbling them on the ground! The standard "boooooo" when someone isn't getting their face smashed bothers me the most, cannot stand that ****.
"I have always said that if you need steroids to compete you are not a fighter. Fighting is all about heart, technique and capitalizing upon your opponents mistakes. It is not about putting something into your body and walking around with big muscles saying look at me. In my book if you are on steroids you are a loser."

The whole "unskilled barbarian/thug/failed boxer/etc" misconception about the fighters bothers me like hell. People do not understand the level of skill, talent, commitment, and sacrifice that it takes to be a professional fighter at the current level of competition.

Its only because boxings fighters are notoriusly known for
a lack of acedemics.Alot of them were in trouble with the law, and couldnt spell jail to save there life. MMA is soooo different in that you have to be smart to compete.

Listening to traditional martial artists who still insist that their art could beat the top fighters in MMA. They simply inisist that the people who fought and lost using TKD/karate etc.. where not skilled enough in thier art.

Don't forget the good old "he lost because he couldn't use his super secret death touch illegal strike dim-mak technique" crap And yes, I do love TMA's and have the utmost respect for their practitioners.
