Most Disrespectful Fighter?
I would have to say Gilbert Yvel. Me and Hemdoz were talking about him today. DAMN that guy is a jackass. He bites karimula, gouges Don Frye, and then he knocks out a Ref. I can't stand the guy.

Gilbert Yvel is the easy answer. Or you could've gone with Mike Kyle who has performed similar acts of poor sportsmanship. I would have to pick the early Tank Abbott. He had no repect for anyone until Vitor Belfort put a beating on him.

He's not in the UFC, but I'd have to say Krazy Horse Bennet (spelling?). That dude disrespects the ref, his opponents, the sport, everything. I'm also gonna have to say Karo. I love his Judo and wild standup, but he refers to himself in the third person, and always has something negative to say about future and past opponents. I think it's more arrogance than disrespect, but the line between the two blurs pretty frequently.
Edit-Melvin Guillard too. Talk about a sore loser.

I'm sure this won't be a popular pick, but I'd throw Nick Diaz's name into the ring as far as disrespectful fighters go. He rarely if ever gives his opponents credit, especially after fights he loses. Instead, he accuses them of greasing up (Sanchez), attacks them in the hospital after the fight (Riggs), whines that they used takedowns to win (Sherk), or simply complains that the refs are crooked (Parysian). Even after beating Gomi in a great fight, he proceeds to repeatedly call him a little Jap.
There is no denying how tough and talented the guy is. But he can be awful disrespectful at times as well.

Very true. I'm a big Diaz brothers fan, but Nick can really come off as a dick sometimes.

Bennett is simply trash. He's been arrested something like 27 times since 2001, most for domestic abuse and assault. He gives no respect to anyone, makes wild claims such as the story about him KO'ing Wanderlei Silva in the Chute Boxe locker room, and is simply not worth the trouble.
Amazingly enough, EliteXC/Gary Shaw seem to revel in the fact that he's got a "bad boy image" (not an image IMO, its well earned) and love to promote the guy. Whatever.

i would have to go with kos, he is a sore winner until GSP changed that. Also he always disrespects his opponents (i know the ufc hype machine). I hope he comes out more respectful this time. (ie "nobody can handle my wrestling", "GSP has a weak chin", "18-1" after beating diego)

I was justr about to add him to the list. I hope his lost to GSP humbles him in the slightest.
I would say Tim Sylvia comes off disrespectful also. He said Monson looked like a little cabbage patch guy, said Coture was an old man and he called out Chech lol Kongo................Oh ya remember the Ortiz/Shamrock 2 when Big Tims fight w/AA wasn't the main event at first, so he said somthing like "IF my fights not the main a event, I feel an injury coming about."

He was very respectful in the post fight press conference and said that the trash talking is all to hype the fights. Him and Diego had a bit of bad blood coming off of TUF so I can understand his animosity towards him.

Lol yea he is a class act too. Grabbing the ropes and elbowing to the back of the head is a bit better than punching out a ref though I guess!

I do have to say all these guys are class a-holes, Diaz rubbed me the wrong way, melvin is an idiot and hughes is sort of the ring leader.

Lol, he was hilarious. I remember his fight with Mark Kerr. He just wouldn't let go of the ropes to avoid being taken down and when he finally did, he elbowed Kerr to the back of the head if I'm not mistaken.

I'm gonna get lambasted for this one, but I say Kevin Ferguson(maybe using his real name will cut down on the insults I'm gonna get). Did you see him pushing the ref in the Tank fight. He's too much of a caged animal right now and in no way respects the sport yet.
