Bill "Superfoot" Wallace talks MMA
Bill Wallace recently took a shot at MMA in Black Belt magazine column. From what he said he does'nt view MMA as anything more then just brawlers and wrestlers. he says MMA fighters don't have money to pay for instruction, that they have no skill or technique. That they only know a few moves. That they can't kick. He does'nt believe women should be allowed to fight without headgear. He hopes MMA has run its course and will start to shrink. Does'nt sound like he likes MMA much.

Well we all heard his commentary from UFC 1, so for him to say anything about the sport, when he clearly only understands his martial art, is ridiculous

Someone needs to tell Bill a lot has changed since UFC 1. To say these guys have no skill or technique is insane, and if he think MMA will just go away he is crazy!
the real shame in this is that someone who is new or doesn't know about MMA will pick up this magazine, read what he has to say and believe that MMA fighters are glorified street brawlers when they are not!

After watching that entire Bill Wallace UFC 1 commentary i think its possible that Bill never saw another event after that. Perhaps UFC 1 haunts him to this day?
"I have always said that if you need steroids to compete you are not a fighter. Fighting is all about heart, technique and capitalizing upon your opponents mistakes. It is not about putting something into your body and walking around with big muscles saying look at me. In my book if you are on steroids you are a loser."
