If you are being disrespectful toward Pulver maybe you should watch that video again and learn something from him.

I agree.

I don't like Faber because Faber is another Tito Ortiz. He loves to talk about how good he is, but refuses to fight the top Echelon.

And when he did?

Tyson Griffin?

Faber got his ass kicked.

Sorry, I respect Faber as a fighter, I dont respect how he goes about his MMA.

Move up to 155 if you have the guts and make your voice be heard by The UFC>

Problem is, you have BJ Penn, Huerta, Griffin, etc......

That's why I dont like Faber.

He's the Razor Rob McCullough of the 145 division of WEC. Content, until someone takes your belt away!

I think Nate Diaz would kick Faber's ass, and that's being 1000% props to Nate.

I don't have anything against Faber, but I believe if he was to fight Torres at a catch weight he'd get beat too... Just my opinion though.

Pulver is humble in defeat, which is just one of the qualities of being a true sportsman.

I think that both Faber and Pulver treated each other with a great mount of respect through this whole process, and both get my props.

I hope Jens continues to kick ass in the 145 division, and I can't wait to see Faber go back to his natural weightclass (bantamweight) and scrap with Torres.

I know that feigning illiteracy is cool and a contemporary ploy, but use the spell check function, please. My head hurts from reading this.
As for Jens, I feel a man-crush coming on. Wow, how humble and what a warrior. He took his lumps, literally, and was proud to be part of a headliner in the 145 lb weight class. This shows selflessness and professionalism. I have nothing but respect for Faber, too. He is a spectacular, exciting fighter who also shows respect to fellow fighters. I'm not aware of any reason as to why he is being compared to Tito.

Big "Plus 1" on this from me.

Yes, Jens took a beating and got bruised up, but he didn't quit, didn't run, and didn't whine like so many fighters seem to be doing these days. He took a guy who has been finishing very good fighters easily in the 1st round all the way to a 5 round decision. I have always liked Jens, and I respect him even more now than ever.

Both guys were very respectful both before and after, and both earned my respect for that reason alone, and then even more for their toughness and skills.

I would love to see Faber vs Torres. I am not so sure Miquel would walk thru Faber like some here seem to imply, or that he would even win. If he thinks Maeda was tough (and he was), then I suspect he would find Faber to be several levels above that. I think it would be one of the best fights of the year in any organization, and at any weight. I hope we get to see it!

Agreed. I recall watching a video in which Faber mentioned the possibility of moving down to fight Torres, and that he specifically said that Torres is a great bantamweight champ and would like to see him win a few more fights (and Faber defend his belt a few more times) before either of them considered the match.

I can see why some people might get an arrogant vibe from Faber and Torres, but I think they're mainly just confident in their abilities. I see them both a lot closer to Franklin or Silva (as far as humility goes) than the BJ or Ortiz end of the spectrum. Granted BJ has come a long way..., but he's still licking the blood off of his defeated adversaries and then asking them to come train in Hilo... hehehe.
