Sengoku III results
This event went under the radar this weekend...in case you're interested, here's what happened.

Very quietly today, World Victory Road held its third event.
The eight-bout show, "Sengoku: Third Battle," took place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Only one of the event's bouts went to decision.
Among those in action included Hidehiko Yoshida, Travis Wiuff, Nick Thompson and Logan Clark.
The official results included:
* Hidehiko Yoshida via Maurice Smith via submission (neck crank) -- 1, 2:23
* Travis Wiuff via Kazuyuki Fujita via KO (punches) -- 1, 1:24
* Kazuo Misaki via Logan Clark via unanimoous decision
* Nick Thompson via Michael Costa via submission (kimura) -- 2, 4:13
* Sanae Kikuta via Chris Rice via submission (arm-bar) -- 2, 3:54
* Marcio Cruz via Mu Bae Choi via submission (rear-naked choke) -- 1, 4:37
* Rodrigo Damm via Jorge Masvidal via TKO (punch) -- 2, 4:38
* Fabio Silva via Yoshiki Takahashi via KO (knee) -- 2, 0:24
World Victory Road, which was founded in October 2007, will hold its next event, "Fourth Battle," on Aug. 28. The Saitama Super Arena again plays host.

Travis Wiuff is having himself a pretty good year. Did'nt he win that Yamma Pit Fighting tournament not too long ago? Now he beats Fujita by strikes in just over a minute. Where has this guy been?

Good question. I remember seeing him tap out Sean Salmon last year. Turns out he's been real active - fought a lot in 2007...eight times.
He fought at that awesome event - Pride 33 (Diaz > Gomi, Hendo > Wandy) and then in smaller shows, most notably the IFO a couple of times.

Yeah, he's a beast! He dominated Ricco in the Yamma fight. I also think he has win over Jardine as well.
