Last week GSP said he belived Fedor was best, this week on inside mma you can see my homeboy Joakin hansen saying the same.
Joakim saying there is no question about it

I'm done finding you rankings. I proved you wrong, my work here is done.

OK, so because you honestly believe that Nog would now beat Fedor (based on something nobody else can figure out - I mean, he struggled against both Herring and Sylvia), that makes Nog #1?
Whatever, there's no sense talking to you about this anymore...

PS. why did you edit all that garbage out of your earlier post?
You said something like "I know 25 people that watch MMA and they all think Fedor is nothing"...

I had a response lined up for that damnit.
Liar. Like you know 25 people.

Yeah, I heard that. Sometimes fighters know more than guys on a forum.

Cool

Good for them. It's good to have opinions.

Has GSP or Hansen ever fought Fedor?

I think not. They see what we see.

What I saw was Fedor fighting guys like HMC and Zuluzinho. What I saw was two straight years of Fedor being #1 when he did not deserve it. What I saw was five straight fights from Fedor against guys that should not have been in the ring with Fedor at that time. What I see is that Fedor has avoided top fighters, which is the fault of his insane management in the form of a goon named Vadim Finkelstein. That's what I saw.

Now, after Sylvia, we shall see what we shall see. I personally expect Double A, Andre Arlovski, to defeat Fedor and put an end to all of this "Fedor is God" nonsense. Josh Barnett? Nah, I don't think he can beat Fedor. But, at least Barnett and AA are worthy opponents.

Actually, I took that out because it would have made you guys get flaming. No other reason. You guys have Fedor up on a pedestal so high that he would die before he hit the ground if he fell off of it.

Im sorry but I do not think Nog would win in a fight against Fedor in the cage.

And Fedor will never be considered a joke in MMA by anyone other than you.

sub, I got nothing against you, but posts like these make it impossible for anyone to take your opinions seriously. Fedor is the best, and he's fought more top guys than pretty much anyone else. every fight can't be against Number 1 guy, nor does you dismissal invalidate Hunt and Hong Man as decent opponents. Hong Man lasted 4x's longer than Big Tim did.

I don't really take the whole Fedor issue all that seriously when it deals just with MMA. I know that you guys do, so it's fun to poke at you and make you guys get all excited and defend Fedor. He really does NOT need you guys to defend him. His record does speak for itself.

The only reason I like to get under your skins like this is because you guys put Fedor way the Hell up there on that pedestal so far away that the next best guy in HW MMA fighting cannot even see Fedor way up there. You guys have Fedor made up as some sort of invincible demi-God.

Well, if you guys really believe that Fedor is so God-awesome, then, yeah, he has to fight the number one guys all the time. Otherwise, it's a waste of his time. There is no challenge. Hunt was the only guy (in that five-fight run between Mirko and Sylvia) that really gave Fedor a serious fight. But, he was not supposed to fight Fedor and he should not have at that time.

If he's the best, then he should only be fighting the best. That's really my main point. The baddest man on the planet should prove that over and over again in fights that mean something and that challenge Fedor.

PS: I don't blame Fedor, essentially, for taking the bad (IMO) fights. I blame his management. Fedor does whatever Finkelstein tells him to do. I don't know why.

PPS: I do hold it against Fedor that he is anti-American. So, that will never change no matter how good he is in MMA. Sorry, but I'm a true, red-blooded, American. I'm too proud to forgive Fedor for what he and his brother have said about America.

Then I guess you must really like poking fun or whatever you call it...considering probably 1/4 of your posts are about Fedor. Granted the BJ Penn thing with you was getting old so you moved on to Fedor. Whatever floats your boat, sub.

Now, there is a true champion that fights top guys nearly every time he fights. He fought Zuluzinho and submitted him. Outside of that match, Big Nog's record is impressive. So what if Fedor has a few wins over Big Nog. THAT was way back in 2004. This is 2008. I honestly believe that, now, Big Nog would defeat Fedor in the octagon.
Personally i think Fedor,Barnett,Randy and possibly Brock and Arlovski (if he carries on with his form) are better than Nog.

The gazbrook rankings have him at No 6
