Nick Diaz brother Nate will be fighting along with some decent up and comers. The Leven's vs Smith fight should be a good one. UFC vets Shonie carter, Mike Kyle, Tiger White, Lytle, and others should make for a good night of free fights. Also looking forward to seeing Lavar fight and Chute Box USA's Jorge Oliveira.

Yes I assume. HDNet is a HD-only network owned by Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavricks). It's on a lot of cable networks and DirecTV. They always show WEC reruns but this time they are actually showing live event. It's awesome watching MMA in Hi-Def. Even if it is WEC. I have my HD cable through Adelphia.

There is another HD only network called INHD that often shows KOTC reruns and UFC reruns. In fact, last night they showed UFC51 in HiDef.

Yeah it's awesome. I have both HDNET and INHD and one of them shows the IFC Global Domination time to time which is how I saw it this fall. It was awesome. I've also seen KOTC reruns on one of the HD networks as well. Also I have to admit after not watching UFC since UFC 10 when I was a kid, I caught UFC 48 on INHD and was pulled right back in.

Well last night turned out to be a little disappointing. They only showed 1.5 hours of fights (4 fights). I assumed it was going to be a 3 hour thing like the UFC. They showed the Mike Kyle fight in which he got his arse beatdown by Devin cole which I guess was an upset. Kyle looked terrible and got TKO'd. They also showed Richard Crunklton put a severe beatdown on Nick Ertle. They showed Chris Lytle TKO Savant Young and lastly they showed the WEC MW championship bout between Scott Smith and Justin Levens. THis fight was the fight of the night and turned into a 2 minute slugfest. Levens got off to a hot start rocking Smith and it went to the ground. But in the end Scott Smith caught Levens with an elbow in the fast which led to some hard combination punched that put Levens to sleep. He was knocked out hard and it took him a while to get back off the mat. Smith retains his title and actually talked about his future plans. He said he had 2 fights left in the WEC and that Scott Adams was allowing him to go to the UFC (which sounded like a slip of the tongue to me).

For those of you that haven't seen Scott Smith he's been pretty impressive so far in the WEC. He said he was willing to fight at 205 or 185. His only career loss was to James Irvin.

I was disappointeed that we didn't get to see all of those other fights. I assume they'll show them on one of their other HDNet events.
