Butterbeans fight's are rigged. Just look how Cecil Peoples breaks up the fight every time they get in a clinch. Butterbean completely lost that fight for lack of, well everything. And they called it a draw..

Its KOTC. They don't allow lay and pray in KOTC. A few seconds of inactivity will cause a break every time regardless of who is fighting. Howard Dean and all the referees for KOTC are the same way. Every time that Buchkovich was in a clinch with Butterbean, Buchkovich did nothing -- he couldn't do anything with a guy as massive as Butterbean. The best that he could do was push him against the fence and hold him there. Buchkovich punched Butterbean with some hard face shots and Butterbean took them and did not look like he was hit at all...

You do know that Cecil Peoples is pretty much the worst ref ever right? Nothing rigged about it.

You do know there were special rules for the Cabbage fight, right? There was a mandated immediate standup after just 15 seconds on the ground. Everytime Cabbage took him down (which happened multiple times), Butterbean held on for dear life until they were stood up. He caught Cabbage a bunch of times and cement head didn't go down. Pretty surprising. Cabbage wanted to continue but the docs shut it down after 2 rounds.

I'm actually a fan of the "King of Four Rounders", but he needs to stay out of MMA and stick to KO'ing cans.

Wes also busted his elbow up pretty bad warming up for that fight attempting a high kick. Why he tried to throw a high kick is beyond me but he's got some cojones to still go out there and throw. I've talked some trash on him before I gotta give him some props for that.

I have only seen the one KOTC fight from KOTC Payback. They did not announce any special rules in that match. They did say that it was MMA rules. The Cabbage fight was more recent, IIRC. I just think that the Butterbean story is interesting. But, he is a novelty, and (IMO) not a real MMA competitor...
