LIVE streaming of Submission fight Randy Couture
I just caught word of this live event. I think it's only like $9.99 but Randy Couture is the main card. It's like this new thing called submission fighting, so no striking which I know the UFC world loves, but if you appreciate the different MMA forms then strictly winning by submission is quite a feat. That's pride if you ask me, it's all about who's not going to give up. I've seen clips of this form and it looks like 2 dogs fighting rolling around, you can't let any limbs free or you're done.

Yeah, I just read about this event in the Total MMA 28 newsletter. The article was titled "THE RETURN OF CAPTAIN AMERICA TO ACTION."X-Mission takes place on Friday night in Culver City, California. The show will be webcast live at www.prosubleague.com for $9.95. I do not expect Couture to return to the octagon, but at least he is still out there. He has put on 20 extra pounds and is up to 225 from 205. The article did not favor Captain America in the fight he has against Ronaldo ‘Jacaré’ Souza Dos Santos.

I did wind up finding a review. Seems like not much happened. Impressive that Randy was able to fight Jacare to a draw. I'm glad Sheilds got choked out too.

the whole submission x fight is available for replay on the same site. www.wavelit.com/xmission all in all there's some pretty good fights. obvioulsy no striking which the ufc thrives off of, but this is skills at its finest, you have to be so careful of giving up any limbs or choke chances. it looks like dogs fighting rolling around in most of the matches. and I love the open floor sumo kinda concept that this league has adopted. |

Have you seen promotions that use something else? Every submission tourny I've ever been to was open floor.
