Wow, unfortunate ending. Renzo couldn't continue due to illegal knees to the back of the head. DQ for Frank.

Renzo was a huge underdog and my sister won $500 bucks off this fight. Crazy ending. Frank as usual. Freakin controversial.
Did anyone find it odd when Frank goes "I havent been beaten in 10 years!"
Yeah, you've been retired for 7 of those 10 years?
I think Josh Thomson is right. Frank is losing it!
Fight Baroni then we'll talk Frank!
I'm starting to really dislike Frank Shamrocks oddball antics in MMA!

It was a solid DQ. Herb Dean did a good job, like Dean said, it wasn't maliscious, but he was warned once and then he did it again, so rules are rules.
Dean did the right thing in DQ'ing Shamrock.

I think it was a good call by Dean. Shamrock was warned, and he did it again. Sorry to see it end like that, but it was necessary.

Oh I agree. I think you may have misunderstood me. I thought it was unfortunate that Renzo got kneed to the back of the head and couldn't continue.
I think Frank said that he didn't intend to knee him in the head. I call BS. You can clearly see Frank clear his arm from Renzo's head so as to land the knee. And then after the warning he did it again.

This was a great night of fights. If anybody watched the undercard, I was a little worried at first. It seemed very unorganized, and unprofessional. Guy Metzger tried his best at commentating and interviewing, but that just wasn't his thing. They kept bringing up the ring girls...It was just awful.
But once the Showtime broadcast came on, they brought in Mauro and Goldberg and things were good. Things seemed to flow alot more smoothly.
I enjoyed all the fights.

yea guys thanks for some discussion on the event i was waiting the whole time for some to open up
Good fights, i hope they can keep this up without spreading too thin, the womens fight was great and I def want to to see more
Im glad Krazy Horse shut that punk ass disrespectful dude up, i could tell fom his prefight demeanor he was pissed as he wasnt as goofy as he usually is, and knew he meant business when he didnt touch gloves
what does everyone else think of that? i mean with the crap Noon pulled at the presser i think he got what he had coming to him, he just seemed like an elitist and all that mess at the presser wasnt even necessary, krazy horse never disrespects a fighter

and i think this warrants its own post...but David Loiseau....what the HELL is wrong with him, i hope everything in his life is going ok, because he looks like he is dragging some serious baggage around in that cage
and Villasenor looked to weigh no less than 200 pounds...lol

really laid the **** on krazy horse after krazy horse gt off the mic and was seated to the point where everyone was snickerin at bennett, bennett kinda tried to verbally defend himself but i think he was taken off guard seriously...he was stutterin for retorts....noons was sayin stuff like "ill fight your ass right now" and stuff
it just came off as being reallly disresectful
...and from what i understand from that presser...Noon was ready to fight

I don't know what happened to Loiseau. Not to take anything away from Villasenor who looked really good tonight, but David showed very little offense. I was surprised when the UFC let go of David after a couple of losses after being impressive coming into the UFC. Maybe Dana knew or saw something that we don't know about.

I'll admit, before the fight, I didn't really think it was going to be good as it was. I was really impressed by Gina's striking! She's got a good right hand. They fought hard, and it made for a pretty exciting fight, IMO.

I thought it turned out to be a good event. I really liked the womens fight, and I still can't get over Silva. I loved Krazy Horse's entrance! Overall, good night!

I never thought that the best fight (my opinion) would be the ladies. Gina is a really good fighter her striking was super proficient. I was not impressed at all with the Shamrock or Loiseau fights. Gracie was not doing much except good take downs. When they were down it was always shamrock pressing the action when it came to strikes. I thougth it was alright and the illegal knees. Loiseau was not good at all not taking away from Joey, but wow i was surprised.
