    Slice won in the first round.

    I told Seikan age would be a huge factor ....

    Kimbo is very strong physically and quite aggressive. Somebody with some mma experince please tell me how well he did those take down stuff?!

    Did you see the fight Bull? And his takedown was average. I mean, he got it and it worked so it was effective, but it was sloppy. Plus, Ray Mercer is in NO SHAPE to be in an MMA cage/ring. If that was any UFC HW, that takedown would have most likely never happened. And then he pulled guard and caught Mercer in a guilitoine choke, which is known for being the "Easiest choke to catch an amateur in."

    Overall, nothing I didn't expect to happen, maybe except the submission. I knew Kimbo would bumrush him and try to take him down.

    im watching the fight right now,not very technical at all. mercer should never have been in there.

    i still dont think kimbo wil last long vs a real pro

    btw it was a one arms guilitine

    Kimbo showed that he is easily a black-belt in BJJ.

    The word on the street is that Kimbo is gonna compete in the next ADCC.

    well i just saw the fight and Kimbo was doing good by giving mercer goods punches up against the cage. He finished it up nicely with a guillotine, it was deep.

    I actually thought Kimbo was extremely smart. He obviously followed the plan he and his team had drafted. He closed the distance against Mercer, knowing that is was unwise to exchange punches, pushed the pace of the fight and kept trying to take Mercer down. A lot of prideful fighters would want to make a point standing against an opponent like Mercer. But Kimbo did not. He wanted to win the fight and followed the best game plan possible.

    The guy may turn out to be a serious threat in one or two years. He seems smart and is much younger than I assumed he was. So, who knows?

    I guess he trained with Bas Rutten the last month or so. Obviously it showed. The Street Fighting Kimbo alone would not have gone for takedowns and guilliotine chokes.

    Just like I thought, Kimbo has the brains not to trade punches with Ray but to take him down which he did and submitted him. Kimbo with about a year of fighting and training with Bas he will be a force to be wreckin with in the HW division.

    i think if tank is the same as he was back in the day then he will win. the problem is i don't think tank can get back to how he was.
