Tank Abbot + Bobb Sapp + Butterbean + Kimbo Slice = Tournament?
According to 411mania.com, EliteXC is mulling a heavyweight tournament with with an all-star cast of "PRIDE" freak show fodder.
Apparently the promotion is looking at inviting Butterbean, Bob Sapp, and Tank Abbott to join newly minted mma sensation, Kimbo Slice, for a four man heavyweight tournament.

I think that Tank is just getting too old to do well in most of the fights he takes now. Hes never been a cardio demon and hes only getting worse. The last thing to go is power though and he can still KO people if he connects. I give him next to no chance of winning.
Butterbean is a bit better and has KO power as well. Its hard to tell with him as to how he'd do. He destroyed James Thompson when they went at it. I just dont seeing him win the entire thing.
I think that Kimbo, with his Bass training, his natural athleticism, and his loads of power could very well win this. He looks like hes training and getting his cardio up (by watching his training clips on the interent). He seems very serious about his training and I think he could pull it off.
Bob Sapp has the gas tank of an obese 3rd grader. Also, he doesnt seem to take body shots very well. Hes been dropped with kicks and punches to the abdomen several times. His size and power are his best bets at winning but if any of the others are smart enough to stay away from the bombs he throws, and not very accurately at that, then they could very well gas him out and take the fight.
If I had to bet, Id bet on Butterbean or Kimbo at winning this. Probably Kimbo overall.
I heard about this earlier today. It is a freak show yes but I'd enjoy watching it for sure. I'd probably take Sapp to win it but I think that BB would have a decent chance of KO'ing him.
Gotta go with Kimbo on this one ... just because thats who EliteXC has got money in

Complete fabrication by 411Mania. EliteXC via Sam Caplan has denied ever even discussing this tournament. Between that and the fact that Sapp is already scheduled to fight on a Strikeforce card in Washington State in February, makes this story false.
My partner John at MMAonTap tracked this down earlier today.
Sapp is also set to fight at K-1 Dynamite new years in a freak fight vs Bobby Ologun.

So it will be Butterbean vs. Slice which will go either way but I really think Slice will win cause he will take Butterbean down and GNP or submit him.
But since this event won't happen I just had to put my opinion in.
