Thumbs up Attention Canadians!!!

It looks like the rumor was true.
I just checked my guide and it shows the WEC event on TSN's alternate channel from 7 - 9 MST tonight.

After the disapointment that was EliteXC, the so-called #2 MMA Promotion will most likely be overshadowed by the UFC's feeder league.

Not saying that as a bad thing because WEC always entertains and has two of my favorite fighters, Condit and the Pulva. I'm so hyped up for Faber/Pulver, neither of them ever put on a boring fight and I think Jens will win, he's fought on the big stage and against way tougher opponents then Faber, and is also a lot bigger. And also we get to see if "Razor" Rob is back, I hope he looks like his old self because he didn't look too great in his last fight . I think if you download Sopcast, you can watch the event live on your computer I'm not sure if it does show WEC, but I watched EliteXC on it once to see and it was decent quality and showed the full show.

I've never understood why after a fighter is losing on points, he doesn't just go for broke, what's gonna happen they're gonna lose? Either way great fight Pulver is still one of my favorites and Urijah proved yet again he's a damn good fighta.

Great card! Razor Rob fight was meh, but the rest were great. Faber definately cemented himself as #1 Featherweight, with a big gap before #2.

Crazy time for MMA, 2 fight cards in 2 days, and 4 events in 2 weeks! I didn't even realize the next UFC was this saturday until I was looking through my program guide and saw the UFC 85 Countdown.

Excellent fights!

I hope Urijah gets to fight Kid Yamamoto next... There's also talk of Urijah possibly heading down to Bantam weight to eventually fight Torres, which I think would be an awesome war. Speaking of Torres, too bad Yoshiro's eye closed up! I think everyone wants to see a rematch between those two.

According to the undercard results, it doesn't look like Lil' Nog faired so well. Bummer.

I'm hoping I can find this fight online sometime tonight/tomorrow to see Aldo in action.

The only unfortunate thing about the fight was that there were quite a few unintentional "illegal" blows thrown from Faber, including: fingers to the eye, groin shot and throat strikes. He's just so friggin' crazy in there, it's destined to happen. That being said, he obviously has some pretty pinpoint accuracy, based on what Jens' right cheek looks like right now. Rough stuff.

Great event, the Torres fight was very good until the stoppage. I was really impressed w/ the level of skill that was displayed in that fight. That is what MMA is all about.

Faber/Pulver was also a decent fight; Faber was just a step too quick for Pulver but major props to Pulver for displaying great heart.....

I love MMA so I enjoyed the EliteXC event too but the caliber of fighters/MMA was definitely on another level in the WEC event. I think we all know the better crop of fighters are in the WEC though.....
