great fights last and just shows what happens when the talent level is changed. Very exciting fights, also was i the only to notice the hottie police officer escorting the fighters, much better than the flea bags used by EliteXC.

I love watching Torres go at it. That was a great fight - Maeda's no joke even though the odds makers made him a longshot. Torres can damage his opponents in so many ways. His reach helps him, his cardio, his standup, ground, etc. War Torres!
You know...Jens impressed me more than Faber. It's not like I thought Faber would "roll through" him like he's been doing but Jens was taking some hard shots and stuck around. There were a few times he rocked The California Kid. I had some points on Faber b/c I figured he'd win but I was rooting for Jens more and more as I was watching them go at it. Both fighters are very skilled and that's awesome to see.
Razor Rob fighting not to lose was really lame. He's gonna have to turn it up if he wants to retain (or gain) fans.
Munoz was highly touted and he didn't disappoint against his bigger opponent.
Is it me or does the WEC always puts on a good show?

Lol, yes she was!
It was a great card! I was a little dissapointed in Razor Rob, but still a lot of good fights in this one! Both Faber and "Lil Evil" were there to fight and they put on a great show! Even though Pulver lost, he is still one of my favorite fighters! I'm sure we can expect to continue to see some great fights in the WEC! Next one should be good w/ three titles on the line once again!

A thought-
The UFC should move the LW and WW divisions to the WEC and promote is as equal to the UFC, including PPVs. The UFC should add a cruiser weight division, from 186-200, move LHW to 201-215. Then they could have an average of 3 shows every 2 months (18/year) split b/w the 2 sister orgs. The WW move would bring with it the instant credibility the LW division lacks (UFC has about 4 of the top 10 LW worldwide, more WWs). I think the recent WEC cards speak for themselves and Urijah Faber should be making a lot more than he made for his last fight (I know, I know, he gets more than his stated salary, but it starts there). And Miguel Torres is amazing. He deserves to be on the BIG stage, not just Versus on a Sunday night. Ok sharks! Time to eviscerate me!

Interesting idea. I think there is plenty of merit to it. Let me play devil's advocate a bit.
The cruiserweight division is a tough sell. First off, the division were originally mandated by the sanctioning bodies, not the UFC. Getting them to change that wouldn't be impossible, as witnessed by EliteXC's made up weight classes. But it would still be a hoop to jump through. My bigger worry is whether or not a 215 class would further dilute the available heavyweight. An awful lot of the heavyweights out there now weigh in the 225-235 range. Off the top of my head, Fedor (233), CroCop (220), Couture (225), Vera (220), even Kimbo Slice is 233. If the class was 215 how many of those guys might make the cut and further dilute the heavyweights? I don't know, just speculating.
Taking the welterweights from the UFC is tough. They have been such a mainstay for so long historically.
I agree, Faber and Torres need more attention. But I think that time is coming as they just sold 12,000 tickets in their first foray away from Vegas. They are building their audience and will branch out eventually I imagine. I sorta hope that they stay off PPV. Those events add up on the average cable bill each month.
Its a very interesting idea, Drew.

I give s lot of credit to Jens for being as tough as he was but I was expecting more from him. I thought he would pose more of a threat against Faber, but I was happy with the outcome.
