Affliction today announced its next event, “Day of Reckoning”, which will take place on October 11th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and air on pay-per-view.
Former UFC heavyweight champions Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett will square off in the main event with a shot a WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko likely on the line.
Rumored bouts for the event include Renato “Babalu” Sobral vs. Tito Ortiz and Matt Lindland vs. Vitor Belfort.

And around we go  I guess they have resolved the payment issues for the mean time. But I am still not holding my breath for any of their announcements to come to fruition.

Should be a Great Fight. I think Barnett's gotta be the favorite, but ol' AA could lay a serious beat down on him at any time.

It´s a shame that Fedor won´t be taking on AA in Oct., then again, this will surely resolve the discussion of who is more deserving for a shot at Fedor, Barnett or AA. In my opinion it has always been Josh and I don´t think AA has the necessary tools to beat Josh.
Fedor seems to have continuous issues with his right hand. It has been haunting him for over 3-4 years now. 180 day Medical suspension.. looks like we will see him again at NYE in Japan.

I was kinda dissappointed when they pulled Fedor from the card but I really like the match-up b/t AA and Barnett as well. Also they have a semi decent LHW match and a quality MW match on the card as well which equals to a 2nd quality card.....

true, it will show who deserves a shot more... but that only hurts affliction... who cares whats fair..? they would rather market a fedor vs AA in oct, THEN a fedor vs barnett if fedor won....
now, whoever loses in oct hurts that fighter of later fighting fedor

I agree, it´s a great match up, and from reading what Affliction has said about it, I guess they are also excited to put this fight on.
