I love this article, EVERYONE should read this.

Agreed, good find. Hearing from some of the best, that Fedor IS the best, is great.

Absolutely great compilation, and includes many points made here at Fight Forum by Crazy, T-Bone, and many others incl. me. I was one of those who was on about Randy not really wanting to fight Fedor when he refused to fight him for 3 million but took the UFC's piker offer instead. And then tried to quit UFC just a short while later.
Look at how Randy beat Tim - One decent punch and five rounds of "hug the giant". Look at how Nog beat Tim - In trouble himself, losing on points and then pulls out a nice sub for the come-from-behind win. Then look at how Fedor beat Tim - By Total Destruction in 36 seconds.
But to some here none of this matters. Because Fedor refuses to sell his soul to Dana White for a cup of tea he is dismissed and downgraded by a shocking number of people here at FF. Nice to see such a coherent piece show out such ridicule for the nonsense it is.

Really? Have you considered the fact that Fedor has never been beaten? His only loss came from a cut fairly early in his professional career. I'd say that puts him in a different category than your average fighter.

But would it be fair to say that you only really watch UFC?

Eh I found the whole piece a little annoying. Just a fluff piece about how fantastic he is without any real counter points. There's a lot of negatives about Fedor even though I do think he is a great fighter. It's just one completely biased writer trying to force his opinions on people.

Just out of curiosity, what are these negatives you speak of? I'm not starting an argument, just curious.

No disrespect to Fedor, he's a great fighter, but that dude was all over his balls.

i've seen the majority of his fights, i just think gsp, bj penn, and anderson silva have fought tougher competition on a more regular basis, not to say that fedor hasn't fought some bad dudes, but to really say he's #1 ever, i think he needs to fight at least a couple times in the ufc.

Georges St. Pierre's record is as impressive to me as Fedor's,if not more impressive. This is because I think it shows a lot more to come back and win against someone who has already beaten you. Georges St. Pierre AND Fedor have perfect MMA records.
P4P GSP is the best fighter ever IMO, followed by Fedor, then BJ, then Anderson.
Whoever wrote that article is huggin some nuts tight, but a lot of what he writes is true.

Sorry but gsp does not have a perfect record.
It does not matter if he came back and beat the people that beat him, a loss is a loss peroid & come jan when bj penn beats gsp then what ya going to say? lol.
Personally I think its easy to come back and beat someone that has already beaten you because now you know what to do.

Hard to take this article seriously when the author says that Fedor fought Silvia "under UFC rules". Unless he's blind, he should have noticed that they fought in a ring, whereas the UFC uses an 8-sided cage (they call it The Octagon, for anyone taking notes).
Anyways, he's a very good fighter, but this piece is a fluff article by an author who has an obvious bias and won't let facts get in the way of his reporting.

Good article. Have seen a lot of the quotes before but there where a few new once there as well
I would recomand anyone who have not seen the very first match between Fedor and Nog(they fought 3 times) to go and take a look at it.
That is my favorit fight of all time in mma.
The most exciting thing about that match is that no one really knows how good Fedor is at that time. They don`t really know he has a ground game other then g&p.Comments by Bas is awsome.
Ill edit wich Pride it was later since I cant remember it now.
If it is a long time since you seen it, then go back and watch it again.
Its a match worth seing 100 times
Edit: Pride.25 Body blow, Have you not seen it.Do it.
