So you wanna be a fighter?

I know a bunch of you guys are in training and looking for a possible start. Well, a great way to get going is attending and then competing in one of the many submission wrestling events that are coming up.

NAGA is based on the east coast, but runs huge events throughout the US. They have a skill and weight class for everyone! Also, they act as a springboard into MMA as they also run the Boston based Mass Destruction promotion and the Atlantic City based Reality Fighting organization. Their MMA events typically feature 15-20 fights!

Man I've been wanting to get into some grappling. I'd love to give it a shot just to see how my wrestling has held up after all these years. I definitely need to work on my endurance though.

i''ve looked into NAGA and MassDestruction, both are in my area often. i was sent an entry form for a NAGA event in New Jersey but did'nt attend. i think every part of the country has shows these days so being able to compete should'nt be a probelm for anyone who is willing.

Just stay active so you won't get tapped, lol.......I rolled with a blue or purple belt for 10-15 minutes and he didn't tap me. If they were scoring I would have won because I was in control, I just didn't know what to do. I could passs his guard but not much after that. If there would've been striking I would've murdered him. Then again, I was about 20 lbs. heavier

Naga is having it's New England Championships on Saturday, June 24th at Bryant College in Providence, RI. I'm probably not competing because, well I'll get it handed to me but a few people from my gym are competing. I'll probably go to support my team. I thought about maybe competing because the worst that can happen is I'll lose but I'll probably still learn something and it would be a good experience. we'll see.
