Default Hominick at TKO 25 (Spoilers)

Nobody's mentioned it around here, but Mark Hominick totally just got owned by Hatsuo Hioki (fights in Shooto). He got cut up, and there was a weird situation where they thought he was holding on during Hioki's triangle choke, the bell rang at the end of the round, and when Hioki let go, Mark was out cold. So even though the round ended before the judge made the call, they had to award it to Hioki.

Geez! That blows, I thought Mark would dominate that fight.

He will come back I'm sure.

Definitely. It's one of the beautiful things about the sport -- there are so many ways to fight that anything can happen. It wasn't Hominick's night, but he's got a good career in front of him.

He does not look too good in that picture. Hioki really put it to him. I wonder if he will be able to make the Gurgel fight?

I think he'll be fine. He got some stitches, obviously, but the cut will heal in time. Keep in mind he got choked out but he didn't get KNOCKED out -- there's no risk of a concussion or anything like that, and as far as I know he didn't suffer any other injuries in the fight.

War Hioki! Nobody was talking about this match so I never put my 2 cents in. I thought Hioki would win a decsion against Hominick.
