It's 1 am Eastern time so it's like around 8 Hawaiin time, just a guess. So they probably haven't started yet.
Edit: Apparently the event starts at 12:30 am est.

Since he took on Hughes twice and lost, Dana said there wasnt much room for him in the WW devision any more. Now that there is a new champ, I think this would be an excellent time for Trigg to come back and try to establish himself as one of the top fighters again.

It's always kind of bugged me that Trigg lost to the top two UFC welterweights and is looked down upon by many as a result. I want to see Diego vs Trigg personally, I honestly think Trigg would be too much for him

Wow...as a huge Trigg supporter I have to say I'm ashamed I doubted him in this fight. Hope Frank can start getting some respect now. The MMAthmeticians have a new spin on things now. Trigg finished Miller, while Georgie (as well as pretty much everyone else who has fought him) wasn't able to accomplish.

This is awesome. I sometimes have trouble with the smack-talk that Frank Trigg put out there before some of his fights (like with the GSP-Trigg fight), but really do like Frank Trigg (as a fighter and an announcer). I am very happy that he now has the ICON middleweight crown. It is cool to have Triggonomics back in action. And, I hope that a return to the UFC is not far behind this recent win.

Also, I heard from a friend that Trigg defended an RNC attempt from Mayhem Miller. Also, the fight ended with Trigg using soccer kicks. I cannot wait to see a HL video of this fight.
Here is what Goze said at the MySpace group thread that was running last night during the fight:"Round one was mostly stand up. They exchanged body kicks. Trigg got the best of Mayhem in round one.
Round two, Trigg lands a big left hook that hit Mayhem in the temple, it wobbled Miller good. After that he was getting weaker and weaker with each exchange. They go to the ground and Trigg starts punching and kicking. Mayhem gets in a turttle position and the ref tells him to defend himself. Trigg starts landing big soccer kicks and the ref stops it.
Miller actually had Trigg in the Rear Naked Choke but Trigg fought it off."

I am not 100% sure, but I think that this is a picture of the Trigg-man with his new belt. It's from his MySpace page, and the picture was just added.

Thats awesome news. I was hoping Trigg would pull this out but I did have my doubts. I thought it would end in round 2 but not the way it ended. I thought that Trigg would get sumbmitted. Im extremely happy to be wrong in this instance.

From what I have heard, Trigg may not be fighting at WW anymore. He fought Miller at MW, and I think that he plans on staying at MW. One of his reasons for losing some WW fights had been that he felt that he lost power and cardio at WW. At any rate, I would still love to see him fighting in the UFC again.

I just saw this fight on youtube. If you decide to check it out be prepared for possibly the most terrible video ever. But it's the fight nonetheless. I was very impressed with Trigg's patience and his ability to defend the RnC. He takes a lot of **** for that, but he defended it perfectly. It's hard to tell because the video sucks, but it never looked like he was in danger. He always had hand or wrist control and threw elbows whenever he had the chance,. Very impressive. He completely picked Miller apart.

Excellent Trigg interview IMO, he says some interesting things about ICON and Pride, and a couple digs in on the UFC.

Thanks for posting that Trigg interview, that was pretty cool.
I think that Trigg would be an awesome addition to the MW devision in the UFC. I hope he will be able to come to terms with Dana and friends some day to make this a possibility.

Yeah, nice interview. IMO, Frank Trigg has really bounced back well from his losses to GSP and Matt Hughes. He took time off, but he never stopped thinking about how to improve. His work with PRIDE Fighting announcer work kept him 'in the game' so to speak. Analyzing other fights helps to understand his own fighting. I did think that it was funny when he talked about 'fat bastard' announcers.
