I just heard a rumor that Trigg trained with Chute Boxe and Wanderlei Silva in order to prepare for this fight. Anyway, I watched the fight on You Tube. It is a rough and poorly filmed clip, but it does look like a great fight. It looks as if the person making the film clip just had the camera aimed at the Titantron.

Wow, honestly Im surprised. I thought Mayhem would have won this as he's on a big streak at the moment but Im still happy that Frank had a good comeback fight. He's an exciting fighter to watch and I agree that people are too harsh on him for losing to GSP and Hughes.

I saw the fight on youtube also and like what sub said, it was a poor quality clip but to what I have seen Frank Trigg looks alot bigger now.
Also Jayson Miller interview was hilarious and at least he still have a sense of humor after a loss.
I hope Miller and Trigg gets an opportunity to get back in the Octagon/UFC.

So is Frank Trigg back???
Jason Miller is a tough apponent but no where near the power as a Trigg. Maybe Trigg should stay at 170. He really is a great fighter but had very tough apponents to beat and when he didn't beat them I think he got really down on himself. Now that he has a title and a win I think he will turn around.

Trigg stated he doesnt want to fight at 170 because he felt that he lost too much cardio, strength, and speed when he would cut so much weight to get down to 170. He's walking around at 200-205 and cuts down to 185 to fight. He said he felt a lot better and was staying at that weight.
From his performance, I think he might have found the weight class for him to perform at his best...

What was unimpressive?
He finished Mayhem, who's a tough mofo.
Even GSP couldn't finish him.

I can see that cardio and especially power would be a problem for someone who's cutting a lot, but I don't agree about the speed. Trigg looked pretty slow against Miller. Miller is also an ex WW, so it will be interesting to see how Trigg matches up with a true MW.
BTW, why is this thread in the UFC section?

Trigg's win was impressive, but that video footage was not impressive. It was basically the camera aimed at the Titantron and not the ring.

As it's already been pointed out, Miller has fought at 205 and is an oversized MW. Georgie couldn't even finish Miller who was probably ridiculously malnourished when they fought. Have some respect man.

Wow...I'm a huge Mayhem fan but I have to give major props to Trigg on this one. After losing in that ROTR tourney he looked washed up, and I would've bet almost anything that Mayhem would've submitted him. Huge win for Trigg.
