Default Jason "Mayhem" Miller vs. Frank Trigg *SPOILER*

On Friday, December 1st Trigg will square off with Jason "Mayhem" Miller for the Icon Sport World Middleweight Title. This will be Mayhem's first title defense in the middleweight division.

I think this is awesome. I was bummed to hear when Trigg said he was retiring. I think he is probably one of the more talented fighters out there and would just love to see this guy make his way back to the UFC some day. This is going to be a tough match up for him since he seems to be prone to getting submitted. His last few defeats were by submission. I think this will be a great fight to watch and really hope that Trigg pulls it off.

I think Frank Trigg is a great guy and a real ambassador for the sport. I'm glad he didn't stick to his retirement plan, but given the opportunity, all my points will go to Mayhem.

Heh, it wouldn't surprise me a bit. Frank Trigg is still a solid fighter, but he is on his way down. Mayhem Miller is one of the best MWs in the world right now and has a very bright future ahead of him. Miller will win, but I'm not sure what way he will go about doing it.

It's only a matter of time before we see Mayhem Miller in the UFC again.

i think Trigg can win this. alot of the guys he loses to can out power him ie, Hughes and GSP. Miller on the other hand is tall and lanky and does'nt have the power of those guys. It will be interesting to see how Trigg does since in the most recent issue of TapouT magazine he refered to his career as very average. i don't think anyone is more disappointed with Trigg's career than he is.

I like Trigg, I am glad he is back and I would love to see him back in the UFC.

As for the Miller fight, I can't predict, but I will be betting on Trigg.

Trigg is cool and all but of late was has he proven 2 get a title shot? Icon must have a lack of depth in mw division. Not trying 2 take anything from him but come on and he's moving up in weight. Great guy but 2 late at least against Mayhem..

Default Frank Trigg is returning to MMA

Maxfighting.com has announced that Frank Trigg is returning to MMA to fight Jayson "Mayhem" Miller. Pretty sweet match I would have to think. ICON Sports has announced this, Trigg is moving up to MW and taking on Miller.

Will we be able to bet on this fight? Im sure they will release odds for it.

As for the winner, its hard to go against Miller in this one. Trigg is top notch and is strong but he seems suseptable to chokes and submissions, which is where Miller works best.

Miller / Submission / 2nd round

Well, it looks like they both made weight for the upcoming fight. I really wish Trigg would come back to the UFC. It would be great to see him in the mix again and I think that winning the title would help him on his way. Since he took on Hughes twice and lost, Dana said there wasnt much room for him in the WW devision any more. Now that there is a new champ, I think this would be an excellent time for Trigg to come back and try to establish himself as one of the top fighters again.

I too would like to see him back in the UFC, along with Mayhem of course. But a new champion isnt going to mean much to Dana when the new champ destroyed Trigg worse than Hughes did. But if he can take out Miller in impressive fassion that's definitely something to raise an eyebrow at. I would really like to see how Trigg stacks up to some of the up and comers in the UFC.
