KOTC, IFL, Bodog Fighters Pay
We have had many discussions about the UFC's pay, but where can we see what these other orgs pay in comparison? Forget PRIDE FC, what about the smaller orgs?

I can tell you right now that KOTC is quite barebones (1,000ish) when it comes to entry level fighters. IFL has a salary rather than relying on show/win to pay fighers, but there is also a win bonus for individual fights and for if your team wins, will see if I can find more money. As for Bodog, not sure.. too close to gambling for me to trust, sort of like if the WWE made an MMA promotion.. way too easy for fixing if you ask me.

Sometimes KoTC really sucks, but for a normal fighter you're looking at about 500 to fight, 500 to win. I've heard of people going in for 100 to fight and 100 to win. I think for a smaller show 500/500 is pretty standard. I think near championship level you start to hit about 5K/5K.
IFL is like 70K a year, full health benefits... regardless of how many times they fight or don't fight.
No idea on Bodog.

I just thought that it was required for the UFC to post the pay so many days after the fight, and that it would be the same for the other orgs too. I can't even find where they post the UFC payouts. I guess I'm not a very good "googler".

Well, even though CSAC has legalized MMA, KOTC still prefers to have shows at tribal casinos and in THEORY, this bypasses the requirement to post fighter salary.. but thats just theory.

Hermes Franca got a whopping 1500 to fight 1500 to win in his WEC LW championship win vs. Gabe Ruediger.
And had to go work at a carwash in LA just to survive. BUt then got a big endorsement from Xyience and a couple of BJJ companies from Brazil who like his perfromances lately in the WEC and UFC.
SO now Hermes is training full time since the endorsements are paying the bills for him.
The fighters survive by their endorsements. They need a big $$$ marketer like DOn King to bring serious $$ to the fighters in MMA.

I think Ricco said he was making as much as he could in the UFC by fighting 4 or 5 times. I could be wrong on that number. I also don't remember what the offer was from the UFC or if he said it. So I got nothin.

TGFX: Thank God For Xience.
Bodog doesn't actually do any gambling. They just offer free gaming experience. There is a $50,000 bonus for the most exciting fighter, but I don't know what the actual payouts are.

Bodog is not like the WWE. They have fighters that we know. Like Trevor Prangley and Cheal Sonnen and one of the Gracies.

Check it out. I think that it may prove to be interesting.

I've been watching this from the beginning, and I like the concept (not that it's new) they are using. The prelims are over, and the PPV for the finals of USA -VS- Russia are on Dec 2nd. They show all the episodes online (including the PPV) and it will be held in Vancouver Canada. No work on pricing yet, their website is slowly being updated.
