Call me Dumb (300 pts)
I think Von Flue will beat Cung Le
And I'll give 300 pts to the next 5 guys if I'm wrong.

This is the problem with Strikeforce, it's going on 10 pm here on the west coast, and its still 3 fights away from the Cung Le/Von Flue fight. Right now, Tiger White seems to be schooling Bobby Southworth (It's a San Jose AKA thing folks)
Here's the deal.
My bet stands. If Von Flue wins I just get all of you to praise my MMA genius in every thread or post (heeh).
If I lose, I'll go back and pick the first five who say I TOLD YOU SO and donate the 300 points each to their accounts.
THATS IF I LOSE!
AND I WONT!
I got a feeling about Von Flue!

I'm so confident that Le won't win this fight I'll now up my payout.
I'll give 600 points to the first 5 members of Fight Forum that say in these precise words.
I TOLD YOU SO!
Call it a test run (dumb or not) on UFC 66 where I plan on giving 2,000 points to each of the first 5 members to say I TOLD YOU SO if Tito loses!!!!
All I ask in return???
Nothing!
Just worship!
Changed my mind again
I'll up it to 1200 pts a piece

Cung Le is not a young kid. He trains a lot of people. He has college wrestling experience. He is an expert at San Shou. He is 17-0 in ISKA Strikeforce kickboxing matches. He has held a lot of ISKA titles. I watch him a few times a week now as Classic ESPN shows old ESPN2 Strikeforce fights at like 1 AM EST. It is impressive to watch Cung Le fight. His striking ability is fierce. He needs to learn more submission and BJJ skills, but look at Cro-Cop and you can see that a kickboxer can be a top guy in MMA.
Jason Von Flue is a tougher fight for Cung Le than the first two fighters that he fought. I am willing to say that Cung Le will win, but it won't be easy.
Here is a Sherdog video interview of Cung Le after his second fight:
http://www.sherdog.com/Videos/Videos.asp?v_id=742
Oh, and here are Cung Le's first two MMA fights:Brian Warren - Cung Le won by TKO (Strikes) 6/9/2006
Mike Altman - Cung Le won by KO 3/10/2006 Both fights were won in the first rounds.

Well it's not how I wanted it to end, but a win is a win!
Cung Le (Pictures) vs. Jason Von Flue (Pictures)
Round 1
Le throwing kicks early, to the head and to the body. Von Flue gets a body lock and pulls guard. Le picks him up and slams him to the mat. In the initial exchange, before Von Flue got the body lock, Le landed a short knee. It opened a big cut over Von Flue's left eye. As soon as Le backed out of Von Flue's guard, referee Dean called for the doctor. She immediately called the bout off giving Cung Le the TKO victory at just 43 seconds of the first round.
I told you so!

Damnnnnnn. I cannot wait for Cung Le to have like five or eight solid fights. I want to see him in the UFC, baby! I did not expect Le to beat Von Flue so quickly. Von Flue is 12-6 (now 12-7), so that was Le's first real challenge.

I hate to see any fight end on a cut but just from what the PbP on MMAWeekly said was happening, I dont think Von Flue would have made it out of the first round even if he hadnt been cut.
Thanks MTKrav911.

OK, the first 5 (which is actually the only 5 who've responded) all had 1200 points donated to you all!
Shows you how much I know about Strikeforce.
Still dont buy into the Cung Le hype.
But.....He won fair and square.
What do you all think about Josh Thomson putting on a Frank Glamrock shirt? Right in front of Frank Shamrock??
Then laughing when Frank Shamrock presented a contract with Baroni's name on it and Thompson laughing saying Frank is gonna get KTFO by Baroni?
Pretty cocky for a kid telling off Frank. I mean Frank isnt Ken!
Good night FF!
Enjoy my huge payout to the winners! Congrats!
I have to post now to save up for Tito/Chuck cause I'm gonna splurge on that weekend!
